We were looking for a quick lunch, and after reading great reviews we decided to give Puka Dog a try. There was a long line that moved pretty quickly. You have two choices on the menu - a Polish sausage or a veggie dog. We all had the Polish sausage - which is substantial. After you choose your dog, you... More

Fresh squeezed lemonade was delicious! The dogs are served in a bun that is more like a sleeve or something. They have fun island-y toppings like pineapple and mango. Worth trying for sure!

We've travelled to beautiful Kauai 7-8 times now. Every visit we make sure to stop at Puka Dog at least once. We always tell our friends who are going to Kauai for first time about it. They are always instant fans too.

After a long day of travel to get to the island we went here for a late lunch after we checked into our resort. The family liked it and my grand daughter had a quesadilla from a nearby restaurant as she is not much for a hot dog.

My daughter really wanted to try it so we did! Nothing special about the hot dog but being in a Hawaiian Roll Bun was yummy. You must get one of the special relishes to make it even better. Be warned that you may end up with most of your sauce at the bottom of the bun so squeeze as you... More

This was our second time visiting Kauai and Puka Dog. My husband and I decided to try the Veggie Dog instead of having a Polish Sausage Dog. They were amazingly delicious. I recommend the Jalapeno Garlic Sauce mixed with the Lilikoi Mustard. The kids enjoyed the lemonade and their Polish Sausage Dogs. Be prepared to be stuffed since not only... More

I found this place after reading favorable reviews and it was a nice alternative for lunch one day. The pineapple relish with hot sauce was delicious with just enough sweet to match the heat!

Everyone talks about the Puka Dog.. We were intrigued by the idea but disappointed by the execution...We found that it's just a hot dog with goopy syrup on it. It's a hot dog with fruit syrups and mustard.

We always miss out at traditional hot dog places but not at Puka Dog! They had a vegetarian hot dog with all the extras. It is as delicious as everyone says! Mango relish is my personal favorite! Friendly staff!

Okay, I was intrigued enough by the reviews to try Puka Dog, and was amazed. Food: your choice is Polish Sausage (my choice) or a vege dog. The sausage and bun make a substantial meal, not your average small hotdog. They have various levels of heat, regular Tabasco sauce is hotter than their hottest level. Maybe they should grade down...
