We stayed at the hotel here and ate a couple of times as it was attached to the resort. Each time it was ok not amazing. The service the last two times was very disappointing by one server in particular who constantly commented on how she was nearly done her shift and couldn't order us a round of drinks or... More

This was the fanciest restaurant we went to - proper white tablecloths and no shorts - and we weren't disappointed. I got the lobster ravioli which was out of this world and my boyfriend got the Ono which was super fresh and tasty. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nicer meal on the island.

We ate dinner at Red Salt during our stay at Koa Kea. The restaurant was full yet not loud, the portions just right and the service impeccable. For a treat (it is expensive), visit Red Salt.

Went again last year in December 2015 and in July of 2016 . . . what a difference ! in 2015 everything was perfect : the food was delicious, the presentation was impeccable, the service efficient and friendly, etc. We went there the other day, and were so disappointed. The steak was over-cooked, the fries were greasy, the waiters seemed... More

Our meal at Red Salt was hands down our best meal on Kauai. We enjoyed the romaine salad with pineapple & blue cheese (excellent) and the onion soup (excellent) as starters. For mains, we tried the ahi (very good) and the ono (excellent). The service was very good and the atmosphere was sophisticated. Overall, it was the best meal on... More

We were guests at the Ko'a Kea Resort and ate our first dinner at Red Salt mainly for convenience upon our arrival. The service was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our pre-dinner cocktails. Salads were delicious and quite large although main entrees were considerably smaller. We were served a complimentary cotton candy dessert in honor of our anniversary. Red Salt... More

The breakfast offerings are really tasty. We did the option which includes an entrée and breakfast bar since it's only a dollar more than the lobster Benedict! The Benedict was perfectly executed! My husband had a Bloody Mary which was compiled with a super tasty salted rim and slightly spicy. Perfection! We also indulged on the pineapple soufflé pancakes which... More

We spent a week on Kauai, ate at alot of restaurants and this was one of our favorites. Food was excellent. Service was great as well. Our server was Bryan, and he was super attentive to each detail. I am gluten and dairy free. Since I couldn't have bread, the chef sent out chick peas popped into popcorn. I didn't... More

Our 2 dinners at Red Salt were amazing! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Our server, Samdi, was the best! She really took very good care of us and was so accomadating to our children. All 6 of our kids said Samdi and Red Salt were the best server and restaurant they ever went too. Can't wait... More
