We were very disappointed with this restaurant. It was very over-priced compared to other, comparable, better restaurants in the area. They even have a hamburger for $50! OK, it has lobster and foie gras on it but really. My salad was wet and tasteless and some of the leaves were brown. The lamb was undercooked and served with weird jelly... More

Great view , and who would have thought about fresh lobster Benedict. I mean real fresh lobster. Our server was Jenny, very friendly and very attentive and polite. It is pricey but what isn't in Hawaii. This place used to be the Poipu Beach hotel before the hurricane destroyed it. All rebuilt and remodelled. Worth the visit at least once on... More

Red Salt is hands down the best restaurant on Kauai. The sushi at the bar is phenomenal and the restaurant menu is creative and always delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly but not hovering. Start with a clever cocktail at the bar and go from there. Foodie heaven.

This was our second visit to Red Salt after a gap of some three years. We were prompted to return based on our previous good experience and were not disappointed. Following our servers recommendation we decided to share the chef's special appetizer of lamb chops. They were prepared to perfection and accompanied by a delicious blend of herbs and polenta.... Came in for our last night at the resort for a special dinner. First the good. The service was excellent. Quick, professional, always a full glass of water, knowledgeable. The food we had was terrible. I couldn't even finish my lobster tail. It was tough and tasteless. We had the lobster ravioli and the cream was somewhat sour and the... More

This place was THE BEST! I love breakfast and we went to a couple of different places. This was by far the best we had. They start with a basket of mini banana nut muffins which are delicious and their menu has great selections. The eggs benedict is incredible and their french toast with nutella cream cheese was my favorite!

The wait staff are very attentive and great at offering menu suggestions, the food was excellent. The red salt they provide with the butter for your bread is so good. You must try the soups and the seared Ahi with edamame risotto and a coconut "cloud". I wish we could have eaten the dessert, but we were just too full,... More

We ate several times here during our stay. Every meal was outstanding, better than most major city restaurants. Appetizers, entrees, all impressive. Cocktails are expensive but monster sized. Friendly staff, lovely ambience. Don't miss it.

We went here for dinner the setting is very nice, and the food was excellent. But like every restaurant the prices are very high, but in this case worth it.
