Went for dinner and had chicken and prime rib. Dinner was served extremely fast and was very good. Server was excellent and went the extra mile to make small additional unexpected details to service. Since this is our first time to Kauai he took extra time to inform us of cool places to visit. Would highly recommend a visit.

We had lunch on the lower level of the restaurant looking out at the beach. Very nice. The food and drinks were good but the service was a bit slow.

Located right on the beach front, this is your typical "Dukes" restaurant. The service is good as usual and not as rushed as Waikiki. They have a band in the afternoon which is nice. They even have free valet parking. Highly recommended for drinks or a meal.

We go to Duke's each time we are in Kauai for at least one meal. The service has always been the best and the food even better. One of the best salad bars on the island. The deserts are almost too big to consume! We love Duke's for lunch also.

Gracious staff, we had a reservation, and they seated us on time, and with a lovely view! From the drinks at the bar, to the yummy salad bar, to dinner...everything was delicious! And of course we ended with Hula Pie, (we have this treat overtime we visit Maui) if you haven't had this dessert, you are missing Hawaii! This restaurant... More

On our recent trip to Kauai I wanted to have our last dinner at someplace different. I found Dukes on Google and tried to follow the map to their place. Not the easiest place to find parking. I highly recommend the Free Valet Parking! We did not see this till too late. Great Tikki Hut Look. Laid back, and always... More

Located in Marriott complex. Nice location on the beach for relaxed lunch. Good service with loaded burger and good fries. Typical high Island pricing. Worth the money.

Visited Dukes last week around February 12, 2017. My wife and I have eaten here before (4 years ago) at the Dukes in San Diego (last year) and Mali (2 years ago). We always had great fish dinners. This time not so, and we were VERY disappointed. The fish dinners had rather smallest portions and seasoned too much. You can... More

Met friends for lunch. Busy but worth the wait. I ordered a macadamia nut crab encrusted Mahi. Without question the best seafood dish I've ever eaten. Absolutely delicious.

Lunch at Barefoot Bar was disappointing. Fish and chips was below average. Dinner in the main dining room was average. Salad bar was sparse.

Description
On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
