Malasadas were delish, covered in sugar as it should be! It is located in a small strip mall but it is the best place in town to get the malasadas!

Needed a sweet treat for breakfast, and the Malasadas from here were just perfect. A nice small town bakery, and a welcome relief from pre-packaged boredom.

Unimposing, small bakery in a shopping mall on outskirts of Lihue on the highway towards Pooipu and Waimea Canyon. Stop in for a quick road breakfast with malasadas, cakes, cookies or such and a coffee, juice.....Try the filled malasadas or plain - malasadas are a Portugese style donut (sans hole) that we first discovered at Leonards in Honolulu. Oh so... More

Recommended to us by a local resident for the Malasades. We had the plain, the cream and the chocolate filled, all were outstanding, the best we've had in Hawaii! They had lots of other items available as well. A little hard to find, in a strip center behind Home Depot.

We were on the hunt for some good cream filled Malasadas or cream puffs. Found this place and they had the best cream filled Malasadas. We ordered a dozen (for the 4 of us, 6 each chocolate cream and cream) and we loved it. We would definitely come here for these again. We didn't try the other items so we... More

Our family stayed on Kauai overlapping the Thanksgiving week, and we ordered pumpkin cream cheese and Lilikoi chiffon pies. Both were delicious! They are worth every penny we spent on them. We often stop there for malasadas on our visits to Kauai.

Another nice return visit. This was my usual malasada stop. We had the cream filled ones this time and they were pretty good. They also have some other sweet stuff like brownies, cookies, etc... Service was good and very quick. Nice spot to take care of that sweet tooth.

Bought some Manju and other cookies from Kauai Bakery. The cookies and Manju were very delicious! I bought several bags to take home and give them as souvenirs.

I'm not sure of anything else but you can't go wrong with the cream filled malasadas- eat them as soon as possible!

We went here to get some Hawaiian malasadas. I ordered 8 and the only 2 flavors offered were chocolate cream and custard. I'm used to having malasadas dusted in sugar or at least powdered sugar but they only put powdered sugar on the custard one. They were just ok. Nothing special at all. I was really hoping they would have... More
