It has been a few years since we ate at Gaylord's so I can't go into detail about our meal. Suffice it to say that we still remember it as one of the finest dinners, bottle of wine, and general dining experience we have ever had! Lovely dining on the patio with a polite cat patrolling the area, but not... More

I have eaten at Gaylord's on and off now for 12 years and I have always enjoyed the experience. This time was no different accept that it was more for business. The food and service was spot on, the server did a great job maintaining the table of 5 and we were able to conduct our business with ease. This... More

My first time to Kauai and was treated to this fantastic find!! Food, drinks and service (Sam I am:)) were all excellent but the Pianist, Hank Curtis, really sealed the deal!! He is extremely talented and can play just about anything. It's fun to play 'stump Hank' This is a definite Don't Miss. He plays Tuesdays’ and Fridays from 6:30... More

My wife and I visit Kauai every year and we always make point to visit The Gaylord and Mahiko Lounge. We actually went 4 times this year. We never miss a Tuesday or Friday, because of their great piano player, Hank Curtis. Hank will dazzle you with a large variety of music. Very romantic setting and Hank puts the final... More

Hawaii plantation style - good food, good coffee, attentive service & what an ambience. There were 3 of us and we tried the fish & steak. All three dishes were great. The 3-course took dinner took a while and it's a good way to layback and enjoy the Hawaii lifestyle

Had a lovely lunch and enjoyed the wonderful weather. I had the roasted chicken crepes with a flavorful mushroom cream sauce. It came with a fresh bed of greens lightly dressed. In the past, I have had the shrimp salad and the Cobb salad. I highly recommend both. The Ruben has a twist ingredient of crispy apple which is delightful.... More

We could have gone more than once. There were so many things we wanted to try on the menu. It is on the spendy side, but the grounds and food lived up to the billing.

Located in old plantation house with may shops to browse. Piano bar was superb with great Mai Tais . Ahi Tuna Poke was very good and served in coconut shell. Entres were also very good. Definitely worth a visit. Plan to spend extra time in piano bar.

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Gaylord's (a part of Kilohana Plantation) on our last day in Kauai. The setting was perfect in the courtyard and the service was excellent. We started off with cocktails, a mai tai (the best I had in Kauai) and a very unique margarita with cilantro, lime and jalapeno..unusual but very refreshing. For lunch I... More

Enjoyed a great dinner with excellent food. The service staff and ambience was very good. Food prices are moderately expensive but it was worth it.
