These are the local markets that serve the best food. Local, heart-warming, full of character. We heard about this place from locals, and it's all about their poke´. You cannot go to Hawaii and not eat poke´. Their best sellers unfortunately are not traditional, but still good. We got the avocado, wasabi, and had their Korean. The most popular one... More

We had a Hawaiian plate and the Korean chicken plate. Both were very good. They're cash only and take out only. It's a tiny shop with a long line but it goes really fast. It was a mix of locals and tourists ordering. If you're skipping the luau food or want more of it for a reasonable price, you can't... More

A true local place. I'd say this is sorta like the fish nazi place bc you better be ready to order when you're up! They move people through fast! We had the seared ahi box and the kalua/Lau Lau box. Both were tasty and generous servings. Find a place to eat bc they don't have seating. We are in front... More

Fresh island poke, fast take out. Bring cash no credit cards accepted. Price was good for a pound of poke, just $13.99.

Cash only! But so worth it. Poke to go. We picked up 2 styles, avocado and shoyu. Small place that is run very efficiently. If there is a line don't worry as only 6-7 people fit inside. Then walk to the market 100 feet away and fill the rest your basket. We did! It will be our first stop again... More

Love their seared Ahi with cream wasabi sauce. So popular with locals be prepared for a line and cash only payment.

On our recent visit, we enjoyed ono wahoo one day and monchong pomfret another, which we took back to our condo to grill on a bbq. We also had a delicious tub of ocean salad to spruce up our plates, island-style.

Located in a little promenade in Poipu in a cluster of restaurants. It also has a market you can buy fresh fish and take it with you. The atmosphere is family friendly although I would say it would not be a family budget friendly place....but then again, what is in Hawaii? I had the Wahoo blackened and was quite pleased... More
