If you are in southeast Kauai and are looking for a Hawaiian hot plate lunch or carry out fresh local fish, this is the place. They only accept cash, but the quality of their offerings, prices, and speedy service will keep you coming back. When we vacation in Kauai, this is where we get lunch. The fish is the freshest of anywhere we have found. We get the lunch special that includes a large, thick piece of fish, macaroni salad, green salad and rice. All for a very reasonable price. The shop is small, but the service is quick and friendly. If you like fresh... More

Great little fresh fish market with an amazing cash only take out selection. Ono two piece plate fed two of us for lunch after a busy morning exploring the beaches of Poipu. Parking was a little tricky but there is a lot immediately after you see the market on the left, if you get to the stop sign you have... More

We always buy our fresh fish to cook at this very small storefront. Always very fresh fish, poke is awesome, and the small plates to go look amazing. It is always busy, closed on Sunday and cash only.

The first day we were in Kauai and went to old koloa town shopping and walked in this fish place. It is very small place with a wonderful display of fresh fish. There was no place to sit down. We did not think much of this place since we were not going to buy fresh fish to cook while on... More

If you are staying around the Koloa or Poipu area, I highly recommend getting some fresh fish here. The prices are very reasonable considering per pound, the mongchong was $11 more at another local place. Get their marinade and their wasabi cream sauce. The wasabi cream sauce was great. I would even consider using it for salad dressing. I had... More

Every time I go to Kauai I always eat at Koloa fish market. Love the seared ahi plate lunch with wasabi sauce, also have great poke and mango bread. Last time I went the ahi was overlooked but that is my only complaint. Decent price (about $10 for a plate lunch).

We go to Kauai every year and are always in search of new great spots. The food on Kauai is generally pretty expensive so it was awesome to find this little fish market that offered a great take-out meal at a reasonable price. Our favorite is the poke with rice box. They have multiple different fresh Ahi pokes to choose... More

ITs a small place and I would assume, given that, they don't want people hanging around, so the staff was not very patient. That's the unfortunate part about it, we may have purchased more if we didn't feel so rushed. I think its cash only too, just FYI. Their poke was very flavorful and fresh.

We love this spot and always send visitors and friends to check it out! Fresh poke and great plate lunches. The folks that work there are patient and guide first timers through what to order. A must!!
