When you have had shaved ice at Matsumoto on Oahu, it becomes the standard to compare for me. This was good, but far from the best and super expensive. Two shaved ice with bean costs like $16 with tip.

Love this spot. Classic Hawaiian shaved ice spot. Also the infamous shaved snow! Brilliant flavors and smiling service. Add toppers and unders or go classic. We had 3 shaved ices in 3 days, and we would have had more.

We spent two weeks on Oahu, Hawaii (Big Island) and Kaua'i in Jan/Feb 2017. We first tried Hawaiian Shave Ice at a truck at Issac Hale Beach State Park on Hawaii - big disappointment as we had expected so much from Shave Ice - the truck's version was grainy like a snow cone and just flavors added.Yuck! Now let me... More

Tried the Delicious shave snow. It is a Milk based treat, which I did not realize before I ordered. Tasty and melts in your mouth, but I think I would have preferred the shave ice instead.

dinner at the dolphin was average. The food was good but not a great value for the money and service was slow.

Had to go every single day at least once - the kids were crazy about Uncles' shaved ice. And I have to admit - IT IS AWESOME! Nothing that we get here in Chicago with those crummy frozen icy things with weird food coloring... Uncles' shaved ice actually tastes amazing and is the PERFECT refreshment for perfect Kauaian days. We... More

We were told by all the locals that we needed to try shaved snow and honey toast. Uncles was the place to go for the best of both of these. The shaved snow was good and should be tried at least once. The Honey Toast is delicious!!! The large will feed a small family. So either come hungry or bring... More

We had the shave snow coconut was really good, creamsicle was just ok not real flavorful. Service was pretty good since there was only one person working. I could have missed this place and it wouldn't have mattered.

When wandering around the shopping center be sure to stop at Uncle's for a shaved ice. They have taken shaved ice to another level and they have a toast that looks too good to be true but I haven't had the nerve to try it yet. This is a beautiful shopping center with lots of benches to lounge on to... More

This is my third time to frequent this place in 2 days. The shave snow is life changing... get the local favorite.
