Great fresh seafood presented in creative and casual format. Insider tip here is bring your own wine or beer and have a picnic in the outdoor seating or even drive halfway out to the lighthouse and watch the sunset. Ahi burrito is recommended.
We went craving fish tacos. I'd give Kilauea Fish Market's fish tacos two stars solely because the fish was excellent--fresh, well cooked--but fish aside I'd give these tacos one star. Cold, store-bought flour tortillas, mounds of cold, pre-shredded yellow cheese mix and sad lettuce. The...More
I got the ahi tuna fish plate and my friend got the tuna burrito. We friggin loved both of them, fish was high quality and excellent. The sauces are also incredible and it’s really chill with good vibes.
We had a Ahi Burrito and shrimp tacos. It was genuinely delicious and we’d recommend the place to anyone who can listen. Pur major concern is about the dispensable dishes used, even when you eat on their terrace ... that needs to be changed!
We were hiking in the area so we made a point to come here.
Ono Tacos - not the best on the island. One piece of meat and loaded up with shredded cheese and lettuce. Pretty tasteless.
Teriyaki Chicken Plate - good plate size. Chicken...More
We stopped here for lunch. You order at counter and they will call you when ready. The tacos were delicious and large. Friendly staff and decent prices. No Restroom you have to walk across the street to the Marketplace. Seating outside only.
There was a help wanted sign on the door and hopefully they will find someone to cook better. I ordered the ono fish tacos described as bring in flour tortillas. The tortillas were hard and cold like they had come out of the freezer. The...More
Restaurants are limited in this Kilauea area but I can across the fish market for lunch. They offered plate lunches with various fish, chicken, beef or pork meats with sides. I liked the garlic shrimp with Mac and brown rice. Tables are outside and the...More
This wonderful fish market is set in a shopping plaza in a small town, equidistant from Hanalei and Kapa'a. There is plenty of parking here. The market has a counter and kitchen inside, and picnic tables under sun cover to enjoy your food outdoors. We...More
Every time we visit Kauai, we come to this Fish Market with open air seating. You order the food inside and they call you to pick it up. The seared ahi tuna is amazing! This is a small, quaint place that is a must stop.
