This was a great spot for lunch. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The food was also very delicious. I would recommend this place for lunch etc. It is also right on the beach.

Our table was on the sand beach side which made for a great atmosphere. The food was average. We were a bit disappointed with the very limited lunch menu.

Looking a unique spot for lunch, this did not disappoint. Bar is right on the beach! Service was excellent. Food is just okay.

This restaurant had a very good MaiTai, excellent pupu platter with poke ahi, avocado, coconut shrimp and artichokes. We also shared swordfish, nicely crusted with macadamia nuts. Good service, good singer with his uke. Lovely atmosphere.

Outstanding resturant right on the beach. We had an excellent waiter named Rian. He was very helpful explaining the different dishes. My wife decided upon the Sizzling Shrim with Garlic Bread. The Shrimp was served in a hot skillet with Garlic Butter and other ingredients....I chose the Hook Line & Sinker which is their special fish of the day. from the Kauai Waters. We stopped here to avoid traffic during rush hour for appetizers and drinks. The restaurant on the beach was really fun, beautiful views, great food and our server, Pukaua, was really pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend!

We had the best drinks, fresh fish dinner and dessert at the Lava Lava Beach Club. This was by far the best meal we had in Kauai. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The roosters and chickens roaming around was fun to...watch. Highly recommend.More

We did not have dinner because our experience with the salad and appetizer was unsatisfactory. We ordered one Spinugula salad (spinach salad) to share as on prior visits in prior years the salad was a large portion. The salad looked good when brought to the...table but it was a smaller portion than we expected. Therefore my husband ordered a second salad; which was a larger portion. Did they purposely serve us a smaller portion because we were going to share it? And the salad was over dressed. The second item we ordered (since we loved it on prior visits) was the Fritos Misto (calamari and shrimp). The shrimp was alright but the calamari was bitter and rubbery. Did they soak it in vinegar to freshen up some old calamari? At no time did the waitress offer to credit or redo any portion of these low quality preparations. She just made excuses. The primary food offerings are pizza and hamburgers so if you go to Lava Lava in Kauai I would stick to these items. The cocktails were good though. We did not stay for dinner.More

Pineapple Fried Rice served in a coconut is unique & comes with chicken. Coconut Shrimp is really good. Our speciality drinks were watery so that was a bummer, especially for $43! Coke products served here ($4). Service was good. Interesting to have your table sitting...in the sand, chickens walking all around & a beautiful view of the ocean. Tropical music is entertaining. To get to this restaurant off the main street, you go have to walk through a hotel lobby.More

The food was delicious, service was excellent, and the ocean view was fabulous! Treat yourself to a wonderful experience. We went twice we enjoyed it so much!

The food here is great, the atmosphere is fun but on the loud side and the drinks are amazing. Our family of 4 (husband, wife, twins age 12) ate here twice for dinner and both times we were happy with the service, food and atmosphere....Expect to pay $25-40 per entrée and about $10-12 for specialty drinks. The reason that I am rating the LLBC four stars is because they close at 9, and they really mean they close at 9. We arrived at 8:30pm thinking that we would have plenty of time for dinner and dessert, but when we were finished with our meal (at 9:10pm) and asked to see the dessert menu, we were told that the kitchen had already closed and that we would not be able to order anything else. This was quite disappointing as it was our last night in Kauai and we wanted the extra special send-off. For future diners, arrive an hour before closing. Lol.More

Great atmosphere, quick service, fair prices, and spectacular views. We sat outside beachside and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. After dinner, we walked along the paved beach trail.
