I got the shrimp (prawn) curry. The shrimps were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The curry was a little too thick and rich, and could have used some more fresh herbs to counteract that. All in all, a great experience dining here. The waitress...asked for my ID when I ordered a beer (I'm a 40 year old woman), so that gave me a chuckle and a good travel story.More

Delicious coffees- especially the Italian iced coffee with freshly made whipped cream -, and breakfast dishes. We had the quiche and omelette; visited twice and want to back for dinner. Creative menu. Setting quaint and comfortable, a little boutique-y. Can sit outside, weather permitting. Food...locally sourced, very fresh. Good service too.More

Wished i could have eaten there more than once. The quiche was an incredible custardy one. Lovely paintings to check out. The menu had dishes named after Hemmingway novels.

If your looking for a scrumptious brunch and good coffee. Go no further....Ooh I’m just drooling at the thought of their homemade Croissants🥐! A little taste of Europe on my favorite Island. I want to go back and try that Moroccan Lamb dish!!

Wonderful food, lovely small space. Service was spotty but I was told someone was ill so they were trying their best.

Limited hours of operation, but first rate gourmet dining. Recommend the fondue. The menu seems to change from breakfast to breakfast, but the selection seems to be consistently first rate. Every menu we saw showed evidence of gourmet planning and the food confirmed it.

We went for breakfast. The food was good. A little overpriced for what you get. They don’t have coffee. Just espresso. The service was pretty bad. We had to repeat our order multiple times and we weren’t even talking fast. Our server wasn’t very attentive....Overall very disappointed.More

Rude. Not accommodating. Drove 40 minutes at the suggestion of our hotel concierge, who told us to get there promptly at 6pm because they do not take reservations. We did exactly that and arrived first, to an empty restaurant. After a lot of deliberation, they...unapologetically sent us (2 ppl) packing.More

Hemingway Art Cafe is our go-to restaurant whenever we hit Kauai. Marcus and Jana are masters at making you feel at home like an old friend. You have to go for their breakfast and dinner on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Also a must try is...their Brunch from Monday through Thursday.More

Loved the food! It was unusual, fresh, very good. Best white mocha I have ever had! Decor was very interesting and unique. Great dining experience. Wished we had tried it sooner, we would have gone gere everyday!

I cannot believe they sent you packing without an apology. Just what did you have an issue with and how did you address it? These people are known for their Aloha! And the rich, decadent food!
