Hole in the wall place that we didn’t expect to be this good....but we read a ton of reviews and they were right on! Had the corned beef hash for breakfast, but never this way before. Deep fried croquettes topped with brown sauce. Unexpectedly delish....Ordered it with poached eggs for breakfast today and added a TON of their chili’s in water sauce. Perfect!More

I was the only non-local in the place - good service - wide selection on the menu - excellent pricing. I went mainly to try to the "Gotterburg Sausage" breakfast (think it's actually (Gotheburg - you CAN buy it at Foodland next door but they...come in a HUGE size only) . Even though I've been coming to Kauai regularly since '71, I'd never heard much about it nor had I eaten it... much better than the tourist popular Portuguese sausage! Not as greasy and it has great flavor. I would certainly go back and try some other dishes if I had more time.More

Wonderful Spinach and Feta Omelet with fresh ingredients; very good Oatmeal and the service was good, even though they were Super Busy. Mostly locals, which is a really good sign.

We didn’t want to eat breakfast at our hotel which has expensive prices, so found Waipouli Restaurant. This is a local family run restaurant. Breakfast served all day, and it’s good! I ordered 2 eggs scrambled, Portuguese sausage, hashbrowns, coffee and a side of pancake....Large portions, prompt friendly service. A lot of visitors and also many locals and “regulars” dining here for breakfast, so you know it is good. Very attentive wait staff.More

Great food, huge menu, generous portions! This is a hole-in-the-wall local place that closes at 2. Family run. Tasty! Save room and buy a package of their cookies for dessert..

Great little storefront restaurant. Local food is delicious and plates are plentiful. Very affordable. Loved the mixed grill plate. Take out or eat in. Breakfast served all day.

Set back in a shopping center corner, food is worth the time to find it. Nothing fancy just good flavorful homestyle food. The restaurant is old, small, crowded with tables but not uncomfortable. The service is fast , the menu is extensive, the portions are...large and the price reasonable. Had a strong Asian feel but is a fusion of selections representing the ethnic make up of the island. I would go again.More

Loved this little spot nestled in the corner of a shopping center. It's a local spot for sure with delicious home cooked food. The staff was very welcoming. Definitely felt the ohana vibe. But I digress, this was hands down one of the best meals...we've had while on island. We had the Loco Moco, the Kalua Omelet and a Macadamia Nut Pancake. If you find yourself in Kapa'a, then check it out!More

Seems like a lot of oldies (like me) eat here. Probably means you got a good super solid meal for a reasonable price which is what I got. I chose the two choice special for 12.99 I think it was. I also upgraded to the...fried rice. I had the pork and tofu and the shoyu chicken. Decent sized plate of flavorful food came out served by a friendly wait staff. I enjoyed my meal and had no complaints whatsoever. I asked for some chili oil as I like things spicy, and they actually had it. There is definitely no wow factor here, but you can't go wrong and will get good meal.More
