Great food, great atmosphere, impeccable service with a highly knowledgeable staff. Our server River was great and made our night! Would recommend to anyone visiting Hanalei!

Delicious food beautifully presented by an attentive wait staff. Perfect timing between courses and wine pairings that made the flavors come alive with each bite and sip. Our favorite restaurant in Hanalei.

I wish I could give this 4.5 stars. The reason would only be because of the cost to food ratio. We went one evening and enjoyed the food AND had a great server so we ate here again the next night. First evening we ordered...More

I really wanted to like this place. The food quality just wasn't as great as the reviews. We had the lamb chops which were overly seasoned with tons of sauce on them. It was difficult to taste the lamb. The potatoes were ok but covered...More

While the restaurant is hip and trendy, especially for Kauai, our food was a big disappointment. The grilled octopus was tough, chewy and tasteless, apart from the char. It could have easily passed for a burnt rubber band. Most of our tapas were over-salted, with salt...More

This is a lovely place for couples , with outdoor and in door seating. Professional service and an extensive menu. The tapas/small plate style is perfect for foodies like us ...try several different things and not have to mortgage your grandchildren. Each dish came out...More

My husband and I came to Bar Acuda for our first full night in Kaua'i. It was an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the menu was varied. Nearly everything we ordered was delicious. I can especially recommend the burrata and the...More

I have been to Bar Acuda about a dozen times....I am fortunate to live on Kauai. However, I live in Kalaheo, 90 minutes away, and I still make the drive to Hanalei 2-3 times a year to eat the best food on the island. These...More

Loved the food. Our party had 5 tapas and it was plenty for all of us. Make sure you get reservations as it gets busy real fast

We chose to sit at the bar where Sarah took excellent care of us. The High West Manhattan and the sangria were awesome. We then had the North Shore honeycomb with Humbolt Fog Goat cheese. Our second plate was grilled lamb riblettes. Our third and...More

I would agree with KE. It is a "foodie" type place. That said I would guess they are very accommodating so if your kids are a little older (not infants) and are amenable to trying new things, they shouldn't have a problem.

Didn’t notice anyone taking out but not sure. Worth going and sitting on the outside porch and relaxing and trying their creative tapas. Delicious!!

You can get one of the few seats at the bar if you are there right when they open, or later in the night. Locals have a better chance of being slid in at a table without reservations (hey, it's small town – jus sayin'). That... More
