Good as I remember from our dining experience last year. The menu was the same with a few additions. Ordered vegetarian items and non alcoholic drinks. All ingredients were fresh and very tasty. Not too salty or over seasoned. A nice twist on tapas. Great...More

Our family of 4 has a enjoyable experience at this tapas restaurant! The server was knowledgeable and made great recommendations for us. The lamb chops were a favorite, the cucumber salad with roasted chic peas, scallop (small portion) skewer steak were all delicious! Great vibe

We make Bar Acuda a must each time we visit and once again it did not disappoint. Started with the cucumber salad .... fantastic followed by an Ahi mushroom dish that was presented well but taste was ok. The next couple we paired were Moroccan...More

Loved the inventive tapas. Each one was so tasty we had to order seconds. The server was fun and helpful and even the bread was excellent. Highly recommended.

Several people recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Great vibe and very friendly staff. We enjoyed the olives, flank steak, meatballs, and scallop. The lamb was the best dish we tried. Not really into the lentils, felt they were a bit under cooked....More

Make a reservation or waiting for a seat at the bar is your only option. Good food but the menu is essentially the same as it was when they opened.

The food was fabulous on our visit! Service was also great - friendly and efficient - just right. I love the way they serve, bringing one small plate at a time to share and not feeling rushed. The Ahi Crudo is one of my all...More

This is a fine dining gem in Hanalei town. The vibe is nice and laid back but the food is like what you would expect at a fancy restaurant. The small plate approach is a great way to experience the many inventive and delicious dishes....More

This restaurant is outrageously expensive for what is decent food. Expect to spend minimum $200 for a glass of wine and tapas for 2 people for underwhelming food. There's just a lack of restaurants in the Princeville/Hanalei area.

We made a reservation, but might not have needed it on a Sunday evening. The staff was friendly and our server was knowledgeable about the food and wine. Cool open kitchen, but you can't really see it from the best tables out on the lanai....More

I would agree with KE. It is a "foodie" type place. That said I would guess they are very accommodating so if your kids are a little older (not infants) and are amenable to trying new things, they shouldn't have a problem.

Didn’t notice anyone taking out but not sure. Worth going and sitting on the outside porch and relaxing and trying their creative tapas. Delicious!!

You can get one of the few seats at the bar if you are there right when they open, or later in the night. Locals have a better chance of being slid in at a table without reservations (hey, it's small town – jus sayin'). That... More
