If what you are looking for are smoothies or juice, I heartily advise this place! Several days in the last couple of weeks, I've been going and ordering smoothies. The service has gotten better and faster since my last review. For the most part, everyone's very friendly and helpful. My wonderful smoothie runs about $5.50 +tax and I always leave... More

I wouldn't go any farther than a 2 with this place. It is off the beaten path so we figured it would be a good stop - we were wrong :(. The people - SUPER FRIENDLY!!!! The food - very expensive for what you get, and they totally messed up the order (twice). Here is the scoop - make sure... More

This is a nice spot when passing through Moloa'a! They have nice options. Star fruit grows right in their yard :D You can also pick up fresh lilikoi (passion fruit) here, yellow or orange, depending on season. Oh Mangos! Let's not forget about the mangos and papayas!!!! I've never actually eaten anything here besides fruit and smoothies, but I'm always... More

Yummy sandwiches right on Kuhio highway. I had a really innovative carrot pesto smoked tempeh sandwich; husband had a fresh ahi sandwich. Wish I had recognized the rombutan (sp?) fruit in the fridge! Was only later in our trip I learned those reddish sea urchin looking things hold delicious fruit inside!

We'd just rolled into town after an early morning of travel, so when we saw this friendly-looking spot right off the road, we stopped. They had all kinds of fresh smoothies and also offered breakfast and lunch items. We tried the fish tacos and the special ahi tuna panini, which was delicious!! There are a few covered seats up by... We stopped at Moloaa twice for smoothies and I would recommend you do the same! The smoothies are fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and there is seating both covered and uncovered.

We had a great breakfast here, and the portions are huge! We shared a breakfast burrito, chai/banana/coconut smoothie, and an amazing grilled ahi panini, the special for the day. It was all delicious, but there was so much food we couldn't eat it all in one sitting and had to take the panini to go. Great outdoor shaded seating.

The food is flavorless and dried out. We got the fish tacos and fish burrito. The rice was bone dry and I could hold big gobs on my fork. The black beans were brown they were so parched. The main issue is that the food was so completely void of any flavor that Tabasco couldn't help. I got a smoothie... More

I am drinking a smoothie from here as I type this.... We love this place! Great juices (a veggie juice can never hurt while on vacation) and the smoothies are different and fresh. Friendly people and a great spot. A great reason to stop here over and over again! (I will be back tomorrow.....)

Description
Established in 2003 this family owned business continues to offer healthy fast foods to all. The Moloaa Sunrise Fruit Stand and Juice Bar fills the void for hungry travelers as the only food establishment between Anahola and Kilauea on the northeast corner of Kauai. Conveniently located on the ocean side of Kuhio Highway at Koolau Road, between mile markers 16 and 17, it is the only commercial establishment in the agricultural district of Moloaa. The Fruit Stand not only offers locally grown seasonal fruits and veggies (many of which are raised organically), they make fresh juices, salads, smoothies, and sandwiches. Their grilled foods, featuring burritos and tacos, are sure to please. Their fresh made coffee and espresso round out their offerings. Summer hours for the Moloaa Sunrise Fruit Stand and Juice Bar are: Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Enjoy picnic-style outdoor seating or take-away for your beach adventure.
