They have the most amazing blackened Mahimahi salad with mango salsa. This is one of my favorite lunches to have in the Queens shops.

Good old fashioned fried food. popcorn shrimp and the crusty Asian salad were both good. Don't expect too much - it is self pick up from a window but it is fine for the money

Was recommended this by the concierge at the hotel and she got it right. Simple food, good quality fish, reasonably priced

This is our 2nd time to try Island Fish and Chips within 4 years. Once again the fish had no taste. The location is nice because it’s on a lake and near our hotel. We had an order of grilled fish and slaw and one mixed fried plate. The best item was the fried zucchini. The place is also never... More

Actually great fish & chips, perfectly crispy and tender fish w/ nice hot fries... the rest of the menu was not so great... shrimp was tough, breakfast was no-go. Stick to the fish & you'll be ok. Staff was a bit slow and disengaged.

Enjoyed the fish. Outdoor seating. Casual take out from a window. Cost seems high for a take out. Staff was grumpy.

We went there twice in the week we stayed in Waikoloa. The catch of the day (mahi mahi) was fresh and cooked to perfection. The second time, I got the tempura platter. The fish was great again, but the shrimp was amazing! It's outdoor seating, but there's a shelter for shade. It was quite windy the first time we went,... More

The fish & chips that my family got at Island Fish & Chips was delicious - the sides were fine, and the view of the lake is fine, but for what this is - a takeout window place, the fish steals the show! The seating is all outdoors - fine for us on a beautiful day.

We frequent this establishment for lunch when in Waikoloa and are never disappointed. Great outdoor location with fish ponds and views of the golf course. Food is good and staff is nice. The birds are beggars though. ;-)

Excellent fried fish. In a touristy area but as close to being a local joint as any. A reasonably priced option for an otherwise pricey area. Our family had eaten here on a previous trip, so we came back. Fresh fish made to order so be prepared to wait about 10 minutes or so. Overlooks a man made lake. Highly... More
