We enjoyed ourselves at the Luau but as with all Luaus it was very crowded. Everyone had to stand in line ahead of time and wait until given permission to go in. Once inside we were seated at long tables and given drinks. Dinner was served buffet style. Food was plentiful. The show was fun.

Bit disappointed with how they unwrapped the pig. Previous luau's in Kona that we have gone to was a much more elaborate ceremony. However, can't beat the actual show which was excellent. Also the unlimited drinks and the selection of drinks to chose from was incredible. The difference between the Hilton presentation and the other luaus in Kona was you... More

The Legends of Hawai'i Luau at the Hilton Waikoloa is indeed a visual, musical and epicurean experience. The performers were excellent, visually and musically. The food and service was exceptional both in quality and variety - way more than one could eat.

We went to a different luau in Oahu back in 2010. The food was so-so but the show was good. This particular luau had really good food and unlimited drinks. The show was similar but not as good as the other we had attended previously.

They give u free drinks which is NOT how most Luaus are. The dancers were talented and cute! The Host was charming and the food decent. You should go. Its a Hawaii thing! Just do it!

This is a very expensive outing, if by chance you have never been to a Luau, then splurge! The food, mediocre at best. The entertainment, top notch! It's a little tough to find and a round about way to get to show (kids would love monorail or boat ride to get there! The Fire dancers were our favorite. Make sure... More

Settle in people this may take some time. I refer you first to the Waikoloa description * Luau includes fresh orchid lei greeting upon arrival, open bar with beer, wine, tropical island favorite cocktails and kiddie mocktails, dinner, show, self-parking and gratuity. *Ali’i Seating / $29 + tax more per person, and includes premier seating, family-style pupus and desserts, exclusive... Well I'm glad we decided to go!! Yes the prices are steep but it was the highlight of our trip. We've almost gave in to those who tried to talk us out of it. The fire show was phenomenal! But the kailua pork was star of the show. I had my doubts about this but they were top notch. It... More

The Legends of Hawaii Luau has everything you'd expect, the pig, the lei, the hulas, the fire dancers. If you are looking for a "so cheesy it's cool/touristy" vibe, it's for you. The best part, the kids loved it and that makes it at least 3 stars. Do not bother with the upgrade, you see everything from everywhere. There is... More
