Delicious food and friendly service!!! We ordered the summer rolls, chicken pad Thai, shrimp pineapple curry and fried ice cream. Everything tasted great. The amount of food was plentiful and we had leftovers for the following day. If you have trouble finding the food truck, it is located in front of Ono Cafe and The Volcano Inn. They are open till 6pm and an updated menu is located on their website. I would 100% recommended eating here to anyone staying/passing through the Volcano area.

We enjoyed their Thai food in the car while it was raining in Hilo the day we went to see the Volcano. This is the best Thai in Big Island, perfect spot for dinner 5 minaway from the Volcano National park. The spot is a famous food cart for locals. Its very busy and there are people waiting in their cars while their order is being prepared. They also have 2 benches and a covered gazebo if you want to sit there at eat.We tried their Crazy noodles and Panang Curry and ill say just AWESOME!! We loved it so much that we also took out food for the next day.

We arrived in Volcano pretty hungry but too early to check in to our B & B. We found this highly review food truck at the end of the road with a line of people willing to wait 30 minutes for their food. We ordered the Avocado Curry with chicken and a red rice along with some fresh spring rolls. The Curry dish was the best we've ever had and unique. The spring rolls also very good with excellent sauces. It was well worth waiting for. They serve everything mild but will spice it up on request. Literally the best Curry I have had. Highly Recommended.

First and foremost the food here is amazing and one of the best Thai food places we have eaten at. Not to mention the customer service is unmatched Fern and Cole are one of the best people we have met and are always super nice. They will let you swap anything on the meal to satisfy your needs. We wish we could rate TukTuk higher then just a 5.

We ate here a couple of weeks ago on our tour of Volcanos National Park. It was pouring rain but they were still out serving. We had to take the food back to the hotel to eat given the rain, but it was still worth it. We had the avocado spring rolls which were wonderful, the crazy noodles which was excellent and huge with plenty for 2.5 people and the pumpkin curry. This was very good, although it needed a little crunch and some additional seasoning to counteract the spice but the portion was pretty small on this one. Overall, very good.

Had to double back to get to this truck but well worth the effort. Knew it was a hit with the volume of locals frequenting...middle of the afternoon and jammin'! Personal front man sold us on the Avocado rolls along with avocado curry and pan thai.
All healthy portion and simply delicious. Go here!

First night we tried Tuk Tuk they were sold out (5:20 PM). We got there earlier the second day and were so glad we did. The food really is amazing. And it is nice that we had a choice of mild, medium or Thai hot! We chose mild and it was great. Both of us had noodle dishes with chicken. We tried the curries last time we were in Volcano and were very pleased. The curries are a bit spicier but mild is perfect. Great food.

We arrived around 2:30 and placed our order, were told it would be around 40 minutes...an hour later they let us know they could only make half our food because they were out of noodles AND rice. There weren't any other items we wanted to order that didn't involve these basic Thai food items so we ended up leaving and finding another Thai truck further down the road. If you go here place an order ahead of time as that seems to be the secret to getting food before they run out.

We ordered pad thai, pad see ew, banana lumpia and thai ice tea from this darling food truck with the friendliest guy taking orders. The wait was short and the meal was definitely on the pricy side but we got a ton of food- easily enough for two meals each. Warning- these guys are not messing around with spice, we're usually up for a 3 star meal and ordered 4 out of 10 and it was blistering, volcano hot! The pad thai was truly awful tasting, the pad see ew was OK and the banana lumpia was delicious. Next time I'll try the curries and maybe have better luck. I really wanted it to be better.

Magical Soup and all dishes we ordered were just too good ( flat noodles, curry, and pineapple dish ). we went twice. Friendly person who took our order and accommodated our request. Line moved fast.

The truck can be seen at the side of the road. The food was fresh and excellent. We had Tum Yum soup with shrimp, avocado curry with tofu, and spring rolls. They were all very good. We plan to go back soon.

What a gem. Sitting in the parking lot of the orchid gallery.
Each dish was better than the last. Pad Thai, crazy noodles, massaman curry, coconut soup, pumpkin curry and avocado rolls.
The six of us chowed down and brought lots home for dinner tonight.

Best meal I had on Hawaii Island, without question & best Thai I've had in years! This place came highly recommended, for very good reason. We had green & yellow curries & spring rolls - everything hit the spot. So good, we had to do it twice! If you are a lover of Thai food, or good food & you have the opportunity, eat here.
NOTE - They operate out of a van and are usually all packed up by 5-6pm.

I was in Volcano Village (and in fact, on the East Coast of the Big Island) only for 3 days, and on two of them I ate at Tuk Tuk (heard about it only on Day 2). Both dinners were excellent! (I lived many years in So Cal and believe that I know a little about Thai restaurants). The first was Panang, the next a pumpkin curry. The young lady that takes orders was very friendly. On her suggestion, I chose the medium-high level of spice which was perfect (for me).
Also, they charge a fair price: less than $30.- for a portion that would be enough for two, or in my case for dinner and breakfast the next morning.

After a long hike in the park, this is exactly the kind of hot, tasty and healthy food that you want to have. We enjoyed everything we tried and will definitely go back on our next visit. The avocado curry was particularly good and unique!
