Sometimes in the most out of the way places you find the very best places to eat. TUK TUK FOOD TRUCK is one of my very favorite places to eat on the whole Big Island. Very authentic Thai with a HUGE menu. The food is...fast and the service is amazing. Do Not miss this place if you want the best while visiting Volcanoes Natl. ParkMore

First and foremost the food here is amazing and one of the best Thai food places we have eaten at. Not to mention the customer service is unmatched Fern and Cole are one of the best people we have met and are always super nice....They will let you swap anything on the meal to satisfy your needs. We wish we could rate TukTuk higher then just a 5.More

After a long hike in the park, this is exactly the kind of hot, tasty and healthy food that you want to have. We enjoyed everything we tried and will definitely go back on our next visit. The avocado curry was particularly good and unique!

We enjoyed their Thai food in the car while it was raining in Hilo the day we went to see the Volcano. This is the best Thai in Big Island, perfect spot for dinner 5 minaway from the Volcano National park. The spot is a...famous food cart for locals. Its very busy and there are people waiting in their cars while their order is being prepared. They also have 2 benches and a covered gazebo if you want to sit there at eat.We tried their Crazy noodles and Panang Curry and ill say just AWESOME!! We loved it so much that we also took out food for the next day.More

The food is great! Excellent, authentic Thai food at an affordable price, just minutes from Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options which is awesome. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Right down the road from Volcano Skatepark is a huge plus!

Am I going to be "that person" again? The person who has not had a good experience when everyone else has? I had take out here in July of 2020 while staying at Volcano House. I wasn't in the mood to have room service bring...me up expensive hotel food (dining room closed due to COVID) and seeing all these amazing reviews here and on Trip Advisor, I decided to drive out of Volcanos National Park after placing my order to drive around and get lost. The address of this truck changed since they last had it advertised on their website. I drove to parking lot that had another Thai food wagon there. I also used Waze and ended up in someone's driveway with a whole family staring at me. Super embarrassing. I finally ended up calling them and they told me where they were. I drove around aimlessly until I ended up at a dead-end and found them, by mistake, it was my luck...or was it? I knew something was wrong as I drove away because nothing smelled like food in the car, which was odd. Normally when you buy take-out food and put it in your car, it smells pretty good. McDonald's Fries, Mililani Restaurant, heck, even Subway sandwiches have a smell...my pad thai had no smell. At all. I get back to the hotel and eagerly open up my vegetarian Pad Thai with a side order of Summer Rolls, everything looks nice...but the food was AWFUL. The Pad Thai had only a sweet, sweet sauce on it. No salt, no garlic, no savory...just SWEET. Chunks of crispy celery were also placed in it...since when does Pad Thai have waffle cut chunks of celery in them? The carrots were also large and crunchy, not julienned thin like I normally make it at home, or eat it at other Thai restaurants. Sprinkling salt on it did nothing for it. It was now salty and cloyingly sweet. The Summer Rolls were good, but the orange sauce that came with it was the same EXACT sauce they threw on the Pad Thai. Sweet and more sweet, like eating candied noodle sauce with Summer Roll dipped in candy sauce. It was so bad I threw it away and couldn't stomach anymore. My son ordered the ham burger from room service and he liked it. I should have paid the money and ate in. Bottom Line - NOT SURE what happened, but I will never, ever order the Pad Thai again!!More

Delicious food and friendly service!!! We ordered the summer rolls, chicken pad Thai, shrimp pineapple curry and fried ice cream. Everything tasted great. The amount of food was plentiful and we had leftovers for the following day. If you have trouble finding the food truck,...it is located in front of Ono Cafe and The Volcano Inn. They are open till 6pm and an updated menu is located on their website. I would 100% recommended eating here to anyone staying/passing through the Volcano area.More

The truck can be seen at the side of the road. The food was fresh and excellent. We had Tum Yum soup with shrimp, avocado curry with tofu, and spring rolls. They were all very good. We plan to go back soon.

I believe they do but not sure how it is prepared given that some people don't like cross contamination. I would look at there menu as I know they did have vegetarian dishes.
