The Lodge pays attention to details. The owners use all local ingredients when available. Nice wine selection and knowledgeable staff. Great historical place.

We dropped in for dinner, and were able to get a seat without waiting. I had their Fresh Catch (Ahi) while my wife had their Leg of Antelope filet. For appetizers, we had their sauteed mushrooms, which were pretty tasty. The restaurant itself has a lot of eye candy - look at all the different people who have left markers... More

Wow. This restaurant is wonderful. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the good was upscale and reasonably priced. I had duck with an apricot mustard sauce that was marvelous. Desserts were special. Talented chefs here. Friendly service and prices that are reasonable. Had the chance for lunch the next day and glad we did that too.

My son is a picky eater. He was very pleased with his meal. Soup made from scratch. Dressings from scratch. Awesome deserts. Charming atmosphere and wonderfully prepared food. The Ahi was superb. ..Great service too!

Aloha Kakahiaka! (Good morning). We are so pleased to hear your son loved his steak and even in the face of being a picky eater. and yes, our soups and dressings and bread and desserts are housemade. Thank you for your feedback. Mahalo Lorna More

Had lunch here on a very rainy day. Good food, friendly service, lovely setting and atmosphere. Service can run a little slow if there is a busload of tourists for lunch, but it's worth the extra short wait. Menu is varied, but has a bit of German orientation.

Bring your appetite! The portions here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are big-hunger sized. Not that many places to eat in Volcano so we ended up having a breakfast, a lunch, and a dinner here (albeit not on the same day). Staff are super and the meals were quickly served even on busy nights. The menu is large and you're... More

We loved this restaurant, an awesome treat after hiking all day. The food was "mom's best" type, home cooked with love and care. There were many choices, we opted for a special fish dish and Chicken Tuscany. Bother were delicious. We loved the service and chatted with the staff about some of the wildlife we had seen. It was a... More

Lunch at the Volcano Lodge was good, not exceptional. It was also more costly, which wouldn't have been an issue if the food were better. The service was very good, however. But, overall, I'd skip eating here.

We are Kilauea Lodge...the restaurant in the Park is Volcano House. We have excellent reviews on our lunch menu....I'm puzzled. Our lunches are also very reasonably priced. More

We have island hopped for 12 days now and stayed at 5 star resorts (Disney Aulani and Grand Wailea) but Tutu's cottage at the Kilauea Lodge has been a family favorite. The room comes with a full delicious breakfast of your choice. The people are super friendly. We will go back!!!

Mahalo! Tutu's Cottage is a very typical Volcano style cottage. The former owner was the daughter of Sophie Tucker...and she used to entertain the neighborhood with her singing. Today not many know who Sophie Tucker was...but her daughter's energy lives on in Hale Ohia lane. A happy energy. thanks for your review. aloha Lorna More

We had dinner at the Kilauea Lodge & Restaurant as part of a tour of the Volcano National Park. It was a lovely addition to the tour. I had the steak, my husband had the tuna, we were both very happy. Our server was excellent, making suggestions for dessert that were wonderful. Glad we got a chance to visit this... More

Description
Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant, located in the quiet village of Volcano, sits on 5 acres of gardens and gazebos and native forest. This hotel restaurant features a large fireplace, local art, koa tables, and is open nightly. Chef/owner Albert Jeyte blends flavors from his European background with farm, ranch and seafood products from Hawaii, the surrounding Pacific and elsewhere.

Volcano Village is at 3700 feet elevation and evenings are often cool and misty. The historic fireplace welcomes guests with it's cheery fire. Home made soups and breads tease the appetite. Albert specializes in unusual game...venison, antelope, rabbit, duck. The biggest sellers are local fish dishes; ahi, ono, mahimahi and the exotic Tristan lobster. A large wine list complements the eclectic menu.
