We had specialty martinis before dinner. We had seared ahi and antelope filet and both were excellent. They offer Raymond as their house wine.

Our family of four stayed for two nights in Pii Mauna House - one of the off property lodges. The house had everything you could need and was meticulously clean and located in a lovely quite area backing on to the 6th hole of the golf course. The house was only a short drive to the entrance of Volcano National... More

We decided to stop on our trip back from lava viewing. Although we were exhausted, I'm glad we stopped. It's a fun little kitschy spot with great service and nice food. The drinks are great and there is a lot of good looking stuff to choose from on the menu. It might be another way to break up the trip... More

We had a lovely dinner in a quaint, cozy, and comfortable setting. The food was excellent and the servers were so nice. The BEST carrot cake I have ever had

Our memories of this restaurant were not changed on our return visit. We had a delightful lunch and lava cake for dessert.

We stopped to have lunch here on our day of exploring Volcanos National Park. My husband and I both ordered a cheeseburger with fries and it was soooo tasty! Don't eat here in a rush or on a time crunch. We were in a bit of a hurry the day we stopped in & wished we had more time to... More

We really enjoyed our dinner. A beautiful dining room with a fire in the fireplace, a great European menu, large wine list. Yum.

Brought our family here to relive good memories of past trip. Food and atmosphere was just as good. Eating in a lodge "in the forest" is fun, and then top it off with croquet - the set is outside in the gazebo for guests to use. The gift shop is an unexpected find with real, local crafts including beautiful jewelry,... More

Probably one of the best options in the area; the food was very good. Only one vegetarian option on the menu but there were several fish and meat options. Service was a little slow and when we got the food some of it was cold (although sitting on a hot plate). If we were in the area again, we would... More

This is probably the most high-end restaurant in the village of Volcano. The menu is fairly extensive, and is printed each day, which suggests that it changes frequently. On the day we visited, there were several fairly exotic offerings including german sausages, leg of antelope, antelope schnitzel, and rabbit, as well as other more conventional dishes such as filet mignon... Description
Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant, located in the quiet village of Volcano, sits on 5 acres of gardens and gazebos and native forest. This hotel restaurant features a large fireplace, local art, koa tables, and is open nightly. Chef/owner Albert Jeyte blends flavors from his European background with farm, ranch and seafood products from Hawaii, the surrounding Pacific and elsewhere.

Volcano Village is at 3700 feet elevation and evenings are often cool and misty. The historic fireplace welcomes guests with it's cheery fire. Home made soups and breads tease the appetite. Albert specializes in unusual game...venison, antelope, rabbit, duck. The biggest sellers are local fish dishes; ahi, ono, mahimahi and the exotic Tristan lobster. A large wine list complements the eclectic menu.
