Lunch at the Volcano Lodge was good, not exceptional. It was also more costly, which wouldn't have been an issue if the food were better. The service was very good, however. But, overall, I'd skip eating here.

We are Kilauea Lodge...the restaurant in the Park is Volcano House. We have excellent reviews on our lunch menu....I'm puzzled. Our lunches are also very reasonably priced. More

We have island hopped for 12 days now and stayed at 5 star resorts (Disney Aulani and Grand Wailea) but Tutu's cottage at the Kilauea Lodge has been a family favorite. The room comes with a full delicious breakfast of your choice. The people are super friendly. We will go back!!!

We had dinner at the Kilauea Lodge & Restaurant as part of a tour of the Volcano National Park. It was a lovely addition to the tour. I had the steak, my husband had the tuna, we were both very happy. Our server was excellent, making suggestions for dessert that were wonderful. Glad we got a chance to visit this... More

We loved our stay at Kilauea Lodge. The rooms were great and quiet. We slept well and enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. The staff was wonderful to our children, as well.

We loved the lodge. Old, funky Hawaii. It is dated, but that is its charm. A nice stop on the way to Haleakala Volcano.

Awesome eggs, pancakes and country fries with German sausage. The dinning room is beautiful! Good service and our son loved the hot chocolate... I highly recommend it.

The menu had a big variety of choice along with daily specials. The portions were large. The prices were reasonable and they had the best wait staff I have had in 25 years of vacationing.

Maybe it was just the day my family was there, but the items that were available from the menu were pretty slim, and not that good. They were out of tomatoes, avocados, and not serving all things that had those ingredients - so not a great selection. But the server was very friendly, and the view was spectacular. Also the... Hi cboerkoel. Aloha! I believe you are describing the Volcano House in the National Park. Their view is to the crater and the smoke from Halema'uma'u. Our view is to the native rainforest in Volcano Village. One mile apart. And we only have one Gift Shop at Kilauea Lodge. People mix us up all the time...mahalo Lorna More

We stopped here as part of our volcano tour, and it was absolutely amazing food. The homemade soups were excellent, and the main dish was delicious. The service was on spot and the atmosphere couldn't have been better.

Make sure you eat dinner here and make a reservation. Quaint Lodge historic atmosphere. Interesting food choices, excellent seafood. Tried the lobster tail they bring in from an island off of south africa. So sweet and tender. Shared the seafood medley dish and it was very good. Dinner salad a bit on the skimpy side with little flair. Had wished... More

Description
Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant, located in the quiet village of Volcano, sits on 5 acres of gardens and gazebos and native forest. This hotel restaurant features a large fireplace, local art, koa tables, and is open nightly. Chef/owner Albert Jeyte blends flavors from his European background with farm, ranch and seafood products from Hawaii, the surrounding Pacific and elsewhere.

Volcano Village is at 3700 feet elevation and evenings are often cool and misty. The historic fireplace welcomes guests with it's cheery fire. Home made soups and breads tease the appetite. Albert specializes in unusual game...venison, antelope, rabbit, duck. The biggest sellers are local fish dishes; ahi, ono, mahimahi and the exotic Tristan lobster. A large wine list complements the eclectic menu.
