Don't know what it's doing in Volcano, but this may be the best Thai restaurant on Big Island. I had an eggplant and tofu dish that was one of the best new Thai dishes I've had in years. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular customer. Their soups were excellent as were the chicken and shrimp... More

Stopped here for lunch on the way into Hawaii National Park. Delicious Thai food with Hawaiian influences. We tried the summer rolls, pad Thai, and sweet and sour beef short ribs. It was all delicious. Their Thai teas are the best I've had. We must have gone at the right time, service was fast.

Thai Thai is a good stop if you're out near the Volcano National Park and waiting for the darkness. Service is good. Varied menu. Average Thai food.

The panang curry was way too watery, and didn't taste like any panang I've had (could be because we ordered it medium so only tasted the heat). The food was ready in 5 minutes. We also had the spring rolls, which were greasy but good. Considering the choices for dining around there, we might even go back.

We went there on Christmas day 2016 and probably because there were few places opened they were overwhelmed with foot traffic in the place. However, the food was very tasty and service was friendly.

We went here for dinner while doing Volcanoes National Park. We both had the Pad Thai, one mild and one medium on the heat scale. Mild was not spicy at all and medium had a manageable heat for someone who likes spicy on occasion. Food came fast and service was great. Spring rolls were good too!

We ordered two dishes with one being the pad thai. It was so sweet that there had to be a mistake---maybe sugar accidentally spilled over the plate? Anyway, we informed the waitress that we couldn't eat it. She still charged us even though we only took one bite. Oh well....we won't be back.

Surprisingly authentic Thai in a location that is rather short on good choices. Not fancy but recommended

We decided to eat at Thai Thai before we visited because Thai has many options for Gluten Free, which my wife is. We settled into our hotel, visited Jaggar (saw the volcano), and had an early dinner at Thai Thai. The food was very good for Thai. One recommendation- eat early! We checked into our hotel at 3:30,went to the... More
