Four of us (non-vegetarians all) had lunch here while staying a short distance away, at Volcano House. The cafe is small but comfortable, easy on the wallet, the food hearty and generously plated. Thumbs up from each of us. If you have the bean-heavy chili, though, you might want to avoid social situations for the rest of the day.

Friendly staff and awesome food. What a great find. Visit the gallery while food is prepared. Owner was active talking to guests the hole time.

Yum yum yum! Worth the drive, or stop by after a trip to Volcanoes National Park! Found by accident, & we're so happy we did!

We enjoyed a tasty lunch and good coffee at Cafe Ono. It is near the end of a road and they had flags to guide us to the parking area. Friendly staff and options to sit indoor or out. A nice midday break in the Volcano area.

Surprisingly good food for a small restaurant. Good service. Best to call ahead for a reservation as there is limited space.

After our visit to Kilauea Crater (Volcanoe National Park) we searched for a place to have lunch and came across this quaint boutique/art galleries/restaurant in the town of Volcanoe. The reception was outstanding and ate their homemade food, very very good. The settings were beautiful although it was raining heavily while visiting. We do recommend a stop here for lunch... More

Don't let the dead end sign deter you. This is such a lovely feast for the eyes and your tummy!! Pick up local artist made Christmas presents. Enjoy lunch. Stroll the grounds.

The best cafe/restaurant I have visited on my 4 week trip to Hawaii. Offering many vegan and vegetarian dishes - all full of flavor and based on local produce.

Thank Jacob C
