I had a Sausage, Egg, Spinach, and Feta Scramble. It was mouth watering good! My husband, the finicky eater, had the ham, egg and cheddar scramble. He did not grumble and cleaned up his plate. He also had a wonderful home made biscuit. Traveling here...from Montana, we will not get to visit as much as we would like.More

We have been coming here for over 10 years and always get great meals made with fresh daily produce and ingredients. This is a family run business transferred father to son (due to an auto accident last year) that is maintaining the quality of the...foods served. Rather rustic, has some side-yard seating (recommend bug spray for mosquitos) but great for Covid seating. You can even purchase a "community meal" that will be donated to those less fortunate in need of a meal. We bring our extra backyard fruit to share - so you get that "just picked today" fresh taste.More

We haven't even over here in quite a while, but this place lives up well to our memori s of it. Delicious breakfast, great coffee. Pleasant staff. All of which is hard to do during a pandemic. Great job, guys !

This is the best Breakfast Place of the World! No vacation without a visit at Pele's kitchen. We are coming here for years! The food is healthy and delicous with great chef farm grown veggies. My favourite choice is the COCONUT BLINTZES, and EGGS BENEDICT...VEGGIE, it melts in your mouth. And a fresh Juice of the day, like Guava Ginger makes my day But EVERYTHING you order tastes just amazing and fresh :) The service is great, and the place is funky with lots of arts... Thank you Steven for offering such a great concept: "From Farm to table - From table to farm" . You can learn more about it at his guided farm tours. Highly recommanded!! Its a great experience.More

Pele's kitchen was an awesome little spot we tried for breakfast before packing up. They offer a great selection of fresh fruit, tasty fresh juice and live music. We were also delighted yo be gifted reed woven flowers and a lucky falling star. A great...little wonder in Pahoa, worth stopping by for a meal and just to enjoy the ambiance.More

The food and service was exceptional. Their tropical fruit dish was indescribably good. Their breakfast was very tasty and satisfying. Big servings. Go there!

Found this little gem in the small Pahoa village when we were passing through. It's a farm to kitchen type of place with a hippy vibe. Great selection for breakfast. I got the vegan breakfast which came with beans, rice, purple yam, avocado, salsa, veggies...and local fruit - very yummy and healthy! Would definitely go again.More

I know it is a tropical environment, but I never saw roaches in any other restaurants. When I pointed to the roaches, the comment was just "it's Hawaii" there is a lack of accountability and accommodation with the staff. We arrived with our service dog...and the back part was roped off, there was only one table that would place our dog in the middle of the walkway, so we asked if we can sit at the first table behind the rope to be out of the way. The response was "can't you see that section is closed" WOW.More

Hubby had the mango-coconut blintz; I had the veggie eggs benedict with avocado and a short stack of pancakes. We also shared the fruit platter. It was more food than we could eat, but we pass up all those delicious options. Everything was wonderful but...my favorite was the extra crispy hashbrowns. Highly recommend a meal here.More

Our first time and we were somewhat disappointed. Service was ok but not crisp. Menu is good but food is good just not traditional Chinese. Our guess is this will evolve.

Aloha, no, we allow our customers to come in when they wish, and first come first served so as to keep out the "have to do this now" vibes, and increase our aloha and ho'olauna. Many of our customers have shared tables and... More
