Two of us walked in with another coupling entering a minute behind. We saw a man in the kitchen cutting up a fish and he just glared at us without saying a work and went back to cutting. We all waited five more minutes and...left. I live on the island and certainly will not stop by again.More

We stopped here for a quick bite. Being from Cleveland we were delighted with all the Browns and Ohio paraphernalia. I had the poke my husband and the fish and chips was very yummy.

Service - Maybe the server was having a bad day but we tried really hard to be friendly but she wasn't having it. Felt like she was annoyed we were there - could not get her to smile or engage in conversation and we were...the only people there for about 15 minutes. Food - we had a fish sandwich and ahi poke - both were good, what you'd expect from a bar Facility - An old looking bar - dark inside. We ate outside on the front porch and she wiped the table while we were sitting there with a very strong scented cleaner so I guess it was clean. The bathroom was horrendous. No soap. Freaked me out that the employees use that bathroom and there was no soap to be found - I looked everywhere. There was an empty soap bottle on the counter that someone had put some water in but I was really glad I had hand sanitizer with me.More

If you want to say you've been there (we did), stop for a drink. Otherwise, keep driving. People were eating there, but we decided not to. It has personality, but terrible service!

Nice family owned business with good service. Good location in town. Hugh fan of their Poké Bowl but you can get some other good food here.

The beer was cold and the sashimi fresh. We stopped enroute volcano national park and enjoyed our lunch. The staff is friendly and the food is tasty. We tried the sashimi platter and poke - both were delicious.

While driving around the island passed this restaurant and decided to stop in. It is quaint but inviting and local. The staff was very accommodating and although almost full, about 6 additional families came just after us. They were out of some dishes but we...all enjoyed our lunch. Yes, it is cash only so be aware.More

Fantastic! We are still seated at Staka and all three of us enjoyed the very bite and the attentive service of Jolene! I had the soup of the day, my wife had the shrimp and my son had a bacon burger. All were cooked to...perfection. Many reviewers expressed frustration with the turn-around time but even though the place was crowded, we didn’t wait too long for anything. It’s right in the highway with additional parking in the back.More

After along drive we stopped in. There was 1 drunk at the bar the bartender found more interested in talking to than to even acknowledge us. We looked around wondering if we should sit ourselves. The place was empty except for a filthy table with...dirty dishes that were swarmed with flies. After waiting at a table still ignored We walked out. Went to bakery down the street and had a great lunch.More
