Stopped at this easy to miss spot on the recommendation of a long time local. It was the perfect lunch for us after a morning of cycling. Take out only, but we found a nearby picnic table we shared with a chicken or two. Everything...ordered was tasty.More

Had an amazing lunch here!! I built a wrap with Donaire with herb yogurt and all the veggies! Coupled with Parmesan fries. Absolutely divine. Highly recommend. It's for takeout only, but we sat in our car and enjoyed every bite!!

Delicious and fresh local food for lunch! The plates are generous and there is a large selection for every taste and diet. The place is cool, very small and looks like ‘nothing’ but it is so good!!

Tried the soup, wraps, sandwiches and salad bowls. Never been disappointed - always happy and satisfied after eating here. People who own it are friendly and have high standards for what they serve. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Any German will tell you about how great a Doner can be. Very surprising to find a local shop like this in Hawaii. They have the added benefit of using local beef and some really great french fries too.

We heard rave reviews about this place so we tried it. Falafel plate—-meh nothing great. Had the garlic and guava sauce again nothing spectacular. No flavor that jumped out. The falafel was crispy but again no spectacular flavor. Salad dressing was about the same. Garlic...fries—-now there was something yummy! I would get these for sure. Hawaiian meat sandwich—-again unspectacular I can’t even remember the name actually but it was the meat one. Had it with the sriracha sauce. Bread was also descent. All in all nothing spectacular. Though it was fresh there just lacked a punch of flavor.More

Dan-o's is slightly bigger than a hole-in-the-wall--about 3 indoor tables. There are a couple sitting spots outdoors too and the food is perfect for a to-go picnic. You get to build your own lunch starting with the shape of things ie: pita sandwich, wrap, salad....Choose a protein (gyro was yummy, the falafels devine--positively fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside) and a sauce, plus veggies. I think each item comes in a regular or small version. Regular's are around $10. We both had the traditional tzaziki sauce. I had the salad which used yummy local greens. My partner had an enormous gyro--also good. My new favorite little spotMore

After our Mountain biking tour, the guide suggested here for lunch as it is a popular spot. It’s a simple little place that has active locals coming through constantly. We all ordered the beef doner wraps with various toppings. We also ordered the truffle fries....The staff were very friendly and portions were generous. They also have other great dishes including chicken and pork schnitzel. Highly recommend!!More
