We LOVED this place and was well worth our 35 min drive. Pure sugar cane cola and root beer - worth a try. All of our food was even better than we expected. Bacon Blue burger was voted the best! Seating outside available. Service was...too notch, very friendly. Masks required to tables. They have alcohol drink containers to go right now with Covid. (Careful, salt on margarita was 50c extra)More

Great food, better service. Stopped for a quick on our drive around the island. We had the garlic fries and Rockies fish bites. Both were delicious, the dipping sauce for the fish bites was excellent. We also enjoyed a huge root beer float. This is...a great place for sitting outside for a quick lunch.More

We go to the Big Island at least once every year except 2020 thanks to covid 19. My favorite place to sit and sip is the Big Island Brewhaus. My favorite brew is White Mountain Porter. It is full bodied and extra tasty. Their food...is fresh and fabulous. The service is friendly and great even when they are slammed. It's just no a vacation without a big White Mountain Porter. I've even seen it in some stores. It tastes great but just lacks the ambiance of being at the Brewhaus. We stay in Kona but always trek to the BIB for a wonderful meal and outstanding brews.More

We've been grabbin lunch in Waimea a lot lately and found the service and quality of food at Big Island Brewhaus to be consistently excellent every time. It's best to call ahead to see if a table is open since they implemented social distancing, but...the staff are managing it well and it's a great place to grab a bite. The ahi nachos with guacamole (try either style: poke or seared) are some of the best infusion you'll find on the island. The burritos & burgers are always tasty as well.More

We stopped here for dinner on the way back to Kona from Hilo, as it was a good half-way point. Although it's got a fun, brewhouse atmosphere, they made my 7 yo daughter feel quite welcome, and she got her burger & fries well before...the adult mains (a godsend considering she was just about ready to complain of boredem). My mom was really happy with her steak, while I ordered a fantastic and unique "island" inspired quesadilla with pineapple, and caramelized onions, and we shared a beer flight for the table. Definitely would eat here again, even if it wasn't on the way.More

We stopped here for dinner traveling between Hilo and Kona. It is a very popular place with a nice selection adult beverages and an interesting menu. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Would recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

This is a fun place to visit and enjoy a meal. Sitting inside or out are both enjoyable. On a clear day you can see the Keck Observatory and on this last visit, all the snow on the peak. They have a good choice of...their own brewed ales and tasty food choices.More

A good spot to have excellent beer and seltzer. We took the tasting, most of them were very good and others were good discoveries ;-)

Really do not believe it would be an issue. Pretty laid back.
