We dropped in for a late lunch on the way through and were delighted with the experience! Food was solid, the beer was excellent, and the service was friendly. We really appreciated the server reducing our order to make sure we didn't have too much food. Was a lovely gesture and very appreciated!

Doesn't look like much from the side of the road but inside the ambiance is nice and the service excellent. Not a fancy dancy place but really good clean food and a amazing selection of beers with knowledgeable staff. Reasonable and a great place to stop on the way from Mauna Kea or Waipeo.

Was visiting family in Kona, decided to head out and try this place. While parking is extremely tight and only fits about 10-15 cars, they have parking down the road at the park. Had a late lunch here and decided to eat on the patio since we had our kids with us. Food was pretty darn good for a brew... More

Lively place with entertainment. The beers and ales are nothing special. Strangely most of the menue is vegetarian. Although there are hamburgers, fish and one steak choice. Our food was good and the service was very good.

drove by the Big Island Brewhaus on the way back from church. Great local beers, organic and fun foods. Staff was friendly. Nice place to stop on your way to or coming back from Mauna Kea or Hilo to the west side of the Big Island.

Wide variety of beer choices, friendly people (it is Hawaii) and surprisingly good food. Downside is the limited seating in quantity and quality, not much in the way of positive ambience. But the green chili stew is better than anything we had in New Mexico and you can't go wrong with any of the tacos.

The beer was good (would be a 2 without the beer) had the burger and it was all greasy. Yes some fat is flavor but this was bad. My guest had the pulled pork romaine and they said they enjoyed it. We had the fish bit appetizer and it was all tempura and grease. Garlic fries were way over salted,... More

We met a local who recommended we take a ride to Waimea to try some of the favorite local favorite places. We decided to stop here for lunch. We loved the black bean dip for an appetizer. I had the black and blue burger with the Cesar salad side. It was cooked to perfection and tasted great. All five of... More

This local brew pub serves an astonishingly large selection of draft beer made on site! There is everything from floral IPA's to stout, with my favorite being Dark Sabbath, a Belgian-style dark ale that is rich, sweet and toasty. The food isn't so shabby, either. The steak medallions are delicious, and sourced from a local ranch. The veggies are also... More

We greatly enjoyed lunch here during our last day on the Big Island. The staff was very accommodating and always of service. The food and atmosphere were eclectic. A local hot spot.
