Great shaved ice and visited several times during our stay in July 2019. Long lines at times but worth the wait. Staff were busy and focused but friendly. CASH ONLY.

Perfect way to end the day at the beach. Shaved ice they have it with multiple flavors and the same goes for the ice cream. I had a couple of scoops making it a Vanilla Mac Nut with Cheesecake combo. Such a delight and so...yummy. My hats off to those you make the ice cream. Benches are available outside to sit down and enjoy your creation. Good service and the prices are reasonable.More

The reviews about the lines are true - you can wait a while to get to the window but it's worth the wait. The gentleman behind the counter is very patient with all his customers and allows for ice cream sampling-The regular size is HUGE...and delicious. It was one of our last stops on our trip and I am so glad we made it.More

Shaved ice is shaved ice but if it includes ice cream, azuki beans, and coconut snow cap (sweetened condensed milk) then it is a real dessert! This is my favorite way to enjoy shaved ice. Only in Hawaii can I get shaved ice and vanilla...macadamia nut ice cream, so I can have them both in one dessert! Also azuki bean (sweet red bean) adds texture and flavor. Here they pack both the ice cream and azuki beans into layers of shaved ice and add the flavors on top ( up to 3) and the final coconut snow cap. Other places I’ve visited assemble the shaved ice and place the ice cream a la mode, and drizzle the azuki beans and snow cap. This way the ice cream melts all over the shaved ice. But packing the ice cream and azuki beans inside the shaved ice, the ice cream remains colder longer - less watery at the bottom of the bowl.More

And try it with ice cream on bottom, or sweetened condensed milk poured on top. Finest shaved ice, and great price too. Always stop here by myself or with kids.

Tiny little place that makes the best shaved ice with ice cream in the bottom. Only problem is the brain freeze but it is worth it!

This place is our favorite place for ice cream and shave ice. It's not touristy and the selections are endless! We must've gone there four times during our 10 day stay and tried something completely different each time! From local tropical ice cream flavors to...shave us that's just as pretty as it is tasty, this place is great! There line is a little slow but only because they truly take their time making everything fresh and customized.More

A delicious treat! Regrets I have are that I only had ice cream here once and I need a bigger appetite!

We tried several shave ice locations this trip and Anuenue was a favorite for their Azuki beans, but came in third in our group's opinion poll on flavors, size and overall taste. The syrups, to us, weren't fresh tasting and more artificial and the location...only has a small bench for sitting and a lot of ants around the syrup dribbles on the concrete. Next door offered a Dole Whip Soft Serve that I wish I would have chosen. Next time.More
