We stopped just after lunch time and were immediately greeted and waited upon. I ordered the ONO special fish and chips, and my wife had the Mahi Mahi small salad. Both our orders were well-prepared, delicious, and plentiful. Shona, I believe our server's name was attentive and friendly. We're happy that we stopped here and will stop again!

THE PRICE WAS OUTRAGEOUSLY OVER PRICED FOR AWFUL FOOD!! I WAS NICE BUT SERIOUSLY THE GUY FROM HELL,S KITCHEN SHOULD TEACH THE COOK..

Great simple food that's affordable. Service is good. Strawberry sundaes are very yummy too. Basic menu but still a good variety to choose from...from breakfast to lunch to dinner

The line down the street at the other famous breakfast place but I'd herd good things here and they were spot on the very reasonable prices

We came back for a second breakfast, the first was so good! We weren't aware of the history of Hawaiian cowboys until we happened on this wonderful local restaurant. The wait staff was friendly, the food excellent and the atmosphere just plain fun. Enjoy!

We often journey over to Waikaloa to the shops, Costco or in to Kailua-Kona town and when we do we try to include a stop in to the Paniola Country Inn for a great meal. Their local kine fare is good and they have something for everyone even if we are taking a large group.

But after the one hour drive up here the time for breakfast was over so we had a sandwich, and half order of lasagna. Both were fine but needed lighter touch. Just s bit more care to detail might push this place over to very good instead if average. The Portuguese Bean soup was nice, though made with corned beef... More

Stopping at Paniolo County Inn is a tradition locals and visitors alike share. We have been stopping for breakfast, lunch or dinner whenever our travels take us to Waimea for over 28 years and this week's visit was no different. Good food served with aloha but the Kona mud pie isn't just good. It's awesome!

Good location if you're on your way to Hilo or just briging family for a home cooked meal. Seems like a small restaurant but you can fit several people in the booths or tables. It's nice when you enter a restaurant and you are greeted with a simple "good morning". Acknowledgement goes a long way! We got to the restaurant... More
