We stayed right across the street at the pink Kona Hotel and I liked walking across the street in the am for a cup of espresso. Never ate at the restaurant but it's gorgeously lit at night with thousands of tiny white Christmas lights covering the big tree and canopies outdoors.

This little gem is the only game in town, but thats ok - they live up to it. We ate there 4 times in a row!

This has always been a special go to place for us when on the big island. However, the last time was somewhat disappointing. We were seated a greeted in a fairly timely way. Out table and the atmosphere were lovely. The wine was fine and the beer was cold. salads were excellent, generous, fresh, interesting. Always top quality ingredients here.... More

We went here for dinner and it was great. Highly recommend. The warm beet salad was really good and the snapper a'u were delicious. Not overcooked and the sauces added to the flavor of the fish. The setting of the restaurant is lovely, located in a Hawaiian garden setting with lights all over the trees and structures. We were serenaded... More

We have eaten here about 5 times over the last few years and are becoming more disenchanted with each visit. The food has always been at least very good, but the service is inconsistent and the pricing has gotten completely out of line. If you wish to pay fine dining prices and get equal food and environment, I suggest you... More

We have eaten here several times in the past, with mixed results. Brunch generally quite good, and the tropical garden gives a wonderful atmosphere. We arrived yesterday before the noontime rush, but the service was starvingly slow, both to have our food brought to us and later, to pay the bill. My 3-egg fretatta was very good, but my wife's... Friends have taken us to this restaurant. it is in an art center on the Big Island south of Kona, up in the mountain side. There is a small coffee shop, but also a terrific restaurant beside it. A fabulous brunch menu that surely can serve any taste. Start with great coffee, followed by a great variety of egg dishes,... More

We have always enjoyed this place in the past but they missed their mark today. They were out of pork so no pulled pork sandwich. They were out of chicken so no chicken salad . I ordered the blue cheese salad. It was about 1 1/2 cups of romaine, a couple of croutons, a piece of onion twisted on the... More

The cafe is in the charming village of Holualoa only minutes from Kailua Kona. Set in a garden and classic "old Hawaiian" home, the atmosphere is lovely. The food is very good and cooked from scratch so be prepared for a leisurely meal (slow cooking movement). They are very willing to accommodate guests who have food allergies, vegans etc. They... Food is delicious, nice wine selection. This cafe seems to have become a destination in this quiet village for a reason. It is lovely to dine outside, surrounded by beautiful plants and twinkling lights amongst the trees and awnings.
