Staying at Castle Hilo resort and ventured down for the buffet breakfast. Bacon burnt and stiff as cardboard, cold tastless scrambled eggs. Couple of okay dishes. However way costly for bad food and not much choice. The little shop out front will do us for next 3 breakies. ..

We are staying at the Castle Hilo Hawaiian, and this restaurant is located in the hotel. We decided to try the breakfast buffet. It was horrible. The food was cold... It is in metal catering dishes, but I do not think they have heaters to keep the food heated. It wasn't even luke warm, just cold. The majority of the... More

During our short stop over in Hilo while staying at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, we ventured into the Queen's Court Restaurant. We have always been somewhat suspicious of what you will get for your money when taking on a buffet. We were not to be disappointed. Food was in abundance in all respects. Having enjoyed a few Queensland mud crabs... More

The Hawaiian food buffet with Snow crab and Prime rib was on point. The buffet was plentiful, hot, and fresh. The drinks beer, wine, juices were never empty. Desserts plentiful with soft serve ice cream. The staff friendly, helpful, and prompt. One of my all time favorite buffets because of the crab, prime rib, and price $45. Thank you, I... More

Good news is the Big Island stir fry with shrimp and scallops is a tasty dish especially the cake noodles although light on the shrimp and scallops. Service was incredibly slow.

We had the buffet both Saturday and Sunday nights.... The food was amazing !! It's hard to find all you can eat crab anymore and especially crab that is very easy to crack and get the meat out of - they know how to cook it perfectly! Also the crab and shrimp tasted very clean, not like where we are... More

The Queen's Court Restaurant is a good restaurant, could get a little pricey being in a hotel, but the food is good. The buffet is very good, but I thought a little pricey, how much can you really eat. After a couple of meals we went into town to some local restaurants where the prices were more reasonable although the... More

Had the seafood buffet, crab legs were plump and meaty, sashimi was fresh and delicious as was the freshly made poke. The prime rib was also delicious, they didn't have med rare but it still was tasty.Suckling pig was very moist and flavorful. Dessert selection was excellent the only complaint was the soft serve ice cream which did not taste so good.

This is the one real full service hotel in Hilo. I had a day off and thought that I would try the breakfast buffet. What a disappointment. I didn`t really go with very high expectations, but it was really awful. The food was all cold. The coffee (with Big Island coffee otherwise I`m sure available to them at reasonable prices)... More

Nice staff and service, but the greasiest bacon and potatoes that we've ever been served. I couldn't even eat mine. Luckily, the bay continued to wow us.

Thank you for letting us know how we are doing. I believe you were describing the Breakfast Buffet potatoes. I did verify your concern and had it corrected by our Kitchen Management. Aloha! More
