This is a regular stop for my family that lives here on island, a little strange for a big city mainlander but food was great, thank you for the eye opener, hope to come back next time we make it to Hilo.

We stayed at a local B&B three blocks away. Our host recommend HANS for a quick inexpensive spot. Pho as well as a black bean grilled chicken entree were both filling and fresh. I would not seek out HRNS if you are interested in upper scale or authentic local cuisine but an inexpensive meal and last minute rush make it... More

We love this restaurant. Okay so there isn't much atmosphere but its all about the food. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The service is friendly and fast. My favorites are the Vietnamese noodle dishes and the pot stickers. They have ready-to-go daily lunch choices which are good if you are in a hurry but sit down and get... More

The woman who rented us her house on the ocean told us this was her favorite Asian place. We drove up and down the street looking for the restaurant with the help of a GPS. We knew we were close but there was no indication that we were in an area that would hold a restaurant. It was totally industrial... More

If you are looking for quality Chinese or Vietnamese food, made with local fresh ingredients, do not miss Hilo Rice Noodle. It's a little hard to find but it is a go-to spot for Asian comfort food. I highly recommend their pho. Also, if you are gluten-intolerant, be sure to ask if the chef can modify many of the dishes... More

This restaurant is one of my favorites! For Pho.soup nothing compares! The salt and pepper squid is simply delicious! They have a loyalty card, for take out orders. Eating there is highly recommended. Always consistent and fresh!!!

We were looking for Pho and wanted to try a new restaurant. I ordered number 23, the pork, chicken, shrimp and beef meatball with white round noodles, my husband ordered 24 with yellow egg noodles. They were very delicious with the accompanied bean sprouts, cilantro, and basil, but a bit too much onions. A great new find.

For the price you pay there other places in Hilo that are significantly better. This is a relatively popular restaurant but ... the place is old and the food is ok but not great.
