We were a little bit hesitant about the location, but so glad we took the chance. Summer rolls satay and coconut tapioca were great. Service was attentive and friendly. The pictures of the family are heartwarming. Fear not, this is excellent Thai!!

First night in Hilo and wanted to grab a quick bite. It's located on a street that feels a little 3rd world, but sometimes the hole in the wall size and locations have the best, most authentic ethnic food. Not this one. Pad Thai is...generally a signature dish that is the measure of EVERY Thai restaurant's taste - this was dry, no flavor, not much sauce, w/ maybe 5 small (1/4") pieces of dry chicken. We ordered it med spicy - it had NO spice at all. No cashews or peanuts, no cilantro, no limes. It was basically a wad of orange starch. Maybe it was a bad night for the cook? The Thai Herb salad? resembled bag mixed salad from Costco w/ some red onion added. No tastable herbs at all. The beef (also not spicy as ordered) was greasy although there was at least 1/3 cup of that meat to add to the salad. Neither of the dishes we ordered even had a faint resemblance to the photos displayed of their dishes in the window. Had we ordered and eaten in (didn't feel covid-safe) I would have let the waiter know the disappointment in taste, quality and appearance. The downside of takeout! Perhaps the curries are better, but if they can't make a good pad thai, I'm not sure I'd take a 2nd chance.More

We ordered multiple vegetarian dishes and all of them were tasty. The place is tiny and the service is a little slow.

We ordered pad kee maw, red curry and panag curry. They were all prepared very well. My wife is a vegetarian and she was delighted with the prep. Meal portions were good and service was quick enough. I would recommend this restaurant

Fresh vegetables prepared for each order with spiciness to taste. We ordered spring rolls, Tom yum soup and chicken Raman ( vegetable, chicken and peanut sauce). Little did we know that this was enough for 3 or 4 people. We brought our own bottle of...wine and were accommodated with wine glasses and corkscrew. Great dishes served with a smile. Great value in Paradise.More

People are kind, place is clean and being from Chicago -we have a lot of good Thai. This is some of the best we've eaten. Hilo is lucky!

I was in Hilo in January 2020 and had the happy experience of eating at this place. It is nothing fancy but the service was friendly and good. If you are a spice lover you can actually get spicy dishes here. So tired of places...that say the food will be spicy and it turns out bland. The green papaya salad was great!More

What a wonderful surprise....great food... This restaurant is down a side street up from the Farmer's Market. There's nothing special about the looks of it from the outside, in fact, if you look in, you'd think you were in Thailand, which makes it even better....The food is pretty authentic and VERY tasty. The prices are VERY reasonable too. I had pineapple Curry, my husband had broccoli and beef strifry, the other couple were pleased with their dishes as well and we shared a papaya salad that was very good too.More
