Stopped for lunch and ordered wood fired pizza which was excellent. The smells coming from the kitchen made me want to come back again and try something else. Friendly staff.

Fabulous interior, friendly attentive staff, tasty well prsented food and reasonable prices. The only thing is remember to ask about all ingredients for.any dishes- my wife can't eat parmesan and it was sprinkled over the pizette starter (but all the more for me I guess).
Horrible expensive food. Pretentious with no taste or reason to be pretentious. I had pasta It came plain. No sauce. A few olives (which I had asked for them not to put in). Worst meal I have ever had in a restaurant. My husband and mother in law had stir fry. Big scoop of rice with about half a cup... More
We came at the tail end of the lunch crowd. Had high hopes of lilikoi ice tea but they had discontinued that beverage. We were enticed by their lunch menu pizza which, as we prepared to order, they told us they were completely out of. We were seated (and I can't fault the restaurant) next to a rather obnoxious group... More
Food was delicious and service was excellent. We visited this place on the way to the airport. We didn't expect much as it was a last minute plans change due to delayed flight. There were a lot of people but we got a table for 4 right away. Seafood options seems to be the best. Burgers and salads were very... More
Found this cute place in downtown Hilo when driving around looking for a place for dinner. We arrived around 6:15 pm on a Friday night with no reservation and they told us it was a 30 minute wait. We felt that was doable so we put our name on the list. Unfortunately it turned out to be a 60 minute... More
My husband and I were looking for a lunch spot during our side trip to Hilo. We had been vacationing in Kona and planned to spend the day at National Volcanic Park. We walked along the rustic Kamehameha street and found Cafe Pesto. The building looks like an old saloon and grand hotel. The place was busy and definitely seemed... More
Everything is prepared at this restaurant and the quality of food served from a pizza to lamb chops are delicious. Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly and attentive. A real gem and unexpected as decor is nothing special and you could easily pass this restaurant and decide it was just another mall type place to eat. Definitely a... More
Always a joy to eat here! Service is great. Politeness the norm! Food choices excellent! Order the smoked pulled turkey sandwich, with chutney and it was superb. I usually have salads which are always great but was up for a change and was delighted with the choice. Looked at deserts but desired they looked to decadent to add to my... More
Seems to be THE place to eat, Set in a cool historic building in the downtown. Coconut crusted calamari very nice; catch of the day can be a salad or an entree. The pizzas looked good as well. still 40$ for lunch for one... was a bit much....
