A micro-restaurant, only 3 tables, but who's food, ambiance, and service cannot be forgotten. Paul proves that you don't need a lot of space and a fancy kitchen to produce a meal that is both tasty and well presented. We found this gem through recommendations from folks at the Hilo Farmer's Market and enjoyed it so much, immediately made breakfast... More

Paul's place came highly recommended. Right next to a Ukulele shop, the timing was right. We were very lucky and had the very coveted 3 table restaurant to ourselves; more would be unsustainable and the charm would fade away from this hidden Gem. We both felt Paul's hospitality and passion from the first hello to the last bite. The breakfast... More

This tiny cafe with 3 tables is like a miracle in the culinary backwater called Hilo. We enjoyed 4 dishes and all had fresh ingredients, refined execution, and vibrant flavors. This fellow Paul is like a skilled artisan in this tiny studio. Go experience it.

Tiny place; 4-5 tables; so you MUST have reservations. This is a breakfast, brunch or lunch place. Exquisitely prepared artisanal dishes. Personal favorites are the waffle (covered in wonderful fruits) or the Caesar salad. People rave about the eggs Benedict too, although it is not on my favorite list. This is a cute little hole in the wall that is... More

Three tables with 2 chairs each is the sum of the customer area. No walk-ins accepted most of the time. But, the breakfast is really, really excellent. Paul, the cook and owner, takes his passion to the limit, that of serving breakfast or brunch. I don't usually take snapshots of what I have to dine on, but I had to... More

Smaller servings but amazing quality. Get three plates for 2 people of you're hungry. Smoked salmon Benedict, and it's by reservation only

If you're a foodie don't miss Paul's place for breakfast in Hilo. It's a tiny place so you have to make reservations. They are very accommodating and the food is out of this world.
