You are in Hilo, stop by Two Ladies....across from a Ben Franklin store. Lots of locals, small store. If you do not want to wait then they put an assortment (about 10 - 12) in prepacked container (random fillings). About 90 to 95 cents per mochi. If you cannot find the shop or they are closed then the prepacked containers... More

Before leaving Hilo this place is a required stop if you like mochi. Everything done by hand so there's lots of love in each mochi and bite.

Found the Two Ladies Kitchen through TripAdvisor and was so so glad we visited! The kind lady behind the counter offered us some samples of incredible fruit filled mochi. Wow! Fresh strawberries, grapes , Ranier cherries and an amazing one filled with a slice from a mandarin. They were all amazing. We purchased a variety pack for ourselves and two... More

This tiny family owned shop has the most interesting mochi creations. I have only ever had regular mochi or ice cream filled mochi, but they had fruit filled mochi! We got a box of 20 mochi and it came out to be about $30. It is a little on the pricey side, but I think the variety you get is... More

We'd had mochi in other places and read the guidebooks rave reviews of Two Ladies. Long story short, the reviews are spot on. Mochi has a slightly sweet rice flour outside, with a fresh fruit and paste or chocolate inside. These folks are real artists at getting it just right and finding fantastic combinations of texture and flavor. Fresh, innovative... More

The best mochi around. The do mochi on peanut butter and strawberries and all kinds of other things. You have to love their treats. If I am in hilo and they are open I complete my tradition of stopping to get some!

This little store is a Hilo Gem. We stopped by to try some mochi and the place was very welcoming and out the door with orders! We tried Rainier Cherry, Strawberry, Pear, Butter, Oreo and Coconut! All very good and If i ever travel back we will definitely make a stop!!!! - NOTE: They take cash only!

Loved the strawberry and red bean mochi. Very fresh and delicious fruit. The mochi itself was soft and had the perfect consistency! The baker was so sweet and gave us an additional mochi for the road. Definitely recommend this place!
