We stopped in this patisserie by chance after strolling through the open market in Hilo. We are so glad we did. We were a bit tired, so we ordered their French Press Coffee for Two. Then we added their delicious almost croissant and their Suisse Tarte to our order. What a treat. I love great coffee--and theirs was that!

We asked the owner to set aside some croissants, almond croissants, and scones to take to our vacation rental for breakfasts. They were absolutely delicious, and some of the best croissants we have ever tasted. We were tempted to try the amazing cakes but did not want to leave them in the car for a later occasion. This is a... More

I absolutely love pastries and this is my favorite spot! I always get the almond butter croissant, it's usually the last one left...I get there at about 9am after the gym and I'm lucky if they have any.. the place itself is tiny but there is about 3 little table that u can eat in if you'd like. I usually... More

Jackie is a master at her craft. I am so happy to have her European bakery here. From rock buns/scones to cakes to croissants to pastries to quiche, and to cookies on holidays, Jackie's creations are wonderfully delicious. Not only are they beautiful to behold, but excellent, and by far the best , to the taste buds. Jackie has a... More

I've been here several times, but finally took my 10 year old niece! She was so impressed and LOVED THE DESSERTS! Kids are brutal and honest with their comments, but she loved her piece of chocolate mousse cake! She was blown away, and even said that she needed to bring her mom! She finally knows why I call this my... More

What explanation could there possibly be that a delightfully quaint, french cafe - which offers some of the best pastries I (or you) have ever tasted - is located in sleepy little Hilo town? As if I didn't already love Hilo enough. Sometimes we're better off with no explanation save the randomness of life: better to simply enjoy than question.... More

It really is that good. It's not trying to do too much selection or volume, but what we found there (peach croissant) was excellent. The almond croissant looked tasty, but we elected for the peach. It was flakey and not too sweet-- just right.

The Soprano Cake is exceptional. Many other choices for top grade deserts and eats. I understand this place is almost a hobby with the owner but wish they were open more traditionally. You need to buy your stuff early cause she makes small batches. Call ahead to not be disappointed.

Chocolate Croissant left me wanting more. Regular Croissant likewise. I would be a regular. Worth a trip, I enjoyed everything I purchased and had the France dessert experience in Hilo.

Oh my word, I will never be able to eat a grocery store croissant again! The Belgian Chocolate Croissant was delightful, but the Frangipane Croissant was pure heaven in my mouth! I'm sure the raspberry lattice bar and Citrus Serenade cheesecake are supremely excellent, since they are also gone into my belly, but if you don't have room for FOUR... More
