Very good food with friendly service

My husband and I were there for a "not so quick" quick dinner before we head back to the west side. I was very impressed with the size and quality of there appetizer - Shrimp Tostada. We ordered that by mistake, because my husband heard me wrong, but it turned out to be a very pleasant mistake. The... read more

This is a nice cozy little bistro type place. It was a wonderful change from the usual lunch items. The crepes were really good, but you can share.

Two of us shared a beautifully-made green salad, soup of the day, and full crepe with beef stroganoff. All was fresh and delicious. Nice selection of local Hawaiian beers. Service was very good. Pleasant space and live piano music on weekday evening. Reasonable prices. I would return, if I lived nearby.

We had breakfast here. The food was very good and priced reasonably. The setting was very nice with cloth napkins!

We came here for breakfast during our stay in Hilo. The restaurant was fairly easy to find and there are plenty of free parking on the street. It wasn't that busy when we arrived and we were seated right away. It is a small, simple restaurant. There was no air conditionig but the fan was running and it wasn't hot... More

My wife and I were just driving into Hilo when it started pouring down rain. We quickly parked the car and hurried across the street to Le Magic Pan. It turned out to be a great choice. We started with the soup of the day - roasted red pepper tomato bisque, which was very flavorful and nicely seasoned. My wife... More

Actually more like New Orleans. But definitely had the French food vibe. Short list of excellent crepes. Both sweet and savory. We opted for the latter which was a perfect choice. I added two eggs which made a perfect breakfast before heading off to Mauna Kea! Very friendly staff. Just a delightful, casual meal. Highly recommended.

Wonderful surprise in downtown Hilo! Delicious thin crepe filled with cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms made fresh in full view. Then....a banana dessert crepe that was FANTASTIC! Lovely friendly staff . Give this place a try on your way to or from the Volcano National Park!!!
