Love coming here! Fun staff and even better food. It's located in east side of the island, so if you're visiting the big island this is defiantly somewhere to stop by. I recommend for dessert the blueberry cc. Will come back soon.

I was at Magic Pan for lunch with a couple of friends. The food is decent with good-sized servings; my chicken was dry, my friends were happy with their salmon pancakes. However, I was astounded and dismayed by the noise from dish washing in the kitchen which went on almost ceaselessly throughout our meal. The dish washing area is up... More

Although service may be on slow side make time to check out this eatery. French food in Hilo CAN be good. A friend taught me to make crepes and even gave me a pan but it's so much better to have someone else do it for you. Being on a vegetarian diet we were pleased there was more than one... More

We happened upon this place last week while walking around Hilo and popped in. My son and husband had one of the savory crepes; i had a sweet one (dont remember what it's called) with cinnamon, butter, ice cream. It was so delicious - I could eat one every day. The others were also extremely happy with their savory crepes.... More

Four of use tried Le Magic Pan for a Sunday brunch. The restaurant is small but very pleasant inside. They have a nice menu of savory and sweet crepes. The waitress was very nice and the crepes were good. However, the service was very slow. The place was not busy and we waited almost an hour for our crepes to... More

The atmosphere is charming with small tables, nicely covered. Service is prompt but not hurried. Salads, crepes, a nice very small selection of wines.

We chose The Magic Pan for breakfast, looking for something different than the usual offerings. We were most pleased. We shared an Alaskan savoury crepe which was served piping hot. The open kitchen allows you to see the care that is taken with each order. In speaking with the charming waitress, we learned her Peruvian aunt owns the cafe but... More

We visited this creperie on the recommendation of a friend while vacationing in Hilo. We were wandering in the tourist district and happened upon this restaurant. Their specialty is crepes, so we had the beef stroganoff crepe and the chicken mushroom crepe. They were delicious. The ambiance was good, instrumental music playing. There was a piano in the room, which... More

If you are after a great crepe then this is the place. They serve savoury and sweet crepes. We had the scrimp avocado and artichoke crepe which were huge and very filling. Great service too. Reasonably priced also.

It's tastefully decorated, the service in personal and superb, and the crepes are like what you have in Paris. You can eat breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner here. Don't be in a rush. Remember it's a French creperie - might be in Hilo, but French customs are closely observed. Best of all, it's all very inexpensive. My wife and I look... More
