About
Jackie Rey's Ohana Grill is a casual local's joint featuring fresh seafood, steaks, pasta and a variety of salads at affordable prices. The restaurant (named after our daughter) is the culmination of much hard work and the dedication of ourselves and our crew. After 12 years of success in Kona, we weren't looking to expand. But…This stunning restaurant space in the Historic Kaikodo building “spoke to us”! This Hilo landmark was built in 1907 as the Hilo Masonic Lodge Hall and was the original home to the Bank of Hilo. To this day there’s a classic old bank vault and an incredible crafted 150 year English bar inside the restaurant. It’s really is cool. We invite you to be our guests and experience

We were driving the island and wanted lunch before we hit the rainbow falls. This was ranked as one of the best restaurants in Hilo and we made a stop. It was very nice. Great vibe, good food. It was the right choice.

We eat here about every 2 months or so, love the open high ceilings and great service. We usually get pork chops, pupu sampler, fresh catch and the deconstructed chocolate mousse. We're never disappointed.
