We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Super J's. We have never tasted Lau Lau like it, so tasty!!! The ladies who run the show were so friendly and helpful. Great Gluten Free option and great price!!

THE best. Customer service, patient, helpful, kind. Lau Lau is the cream of the crop. Pork lau Lau and Lomi were the best we’ve had on the island or anywhere for that matter.

Simple home made local food by sweet people. Get 2 pork and some rice and it’s a simple inexpensive good meal.

Great traditional food, we were told about this place by a local and we weren’t disappointed. Friendly service once you work out how it works you will not be disappointed. Kalua pork wrapped in a banana leaf was so tasty

We happened by here on a recommendation of another restaurant down the street that had to close for the day. My BFF Cathy and I had no idea what the dishes were but had them described to us. I had the Lau Lau Pork, and...she had Pork with cabbage. Both were delicious. If I go back on another vacation to the Big Island this small 'hole in the wall' restaurant is on my list for a lunch visit. They do catering too.More

We recently visited Super J's on the recommendation of our Kayak tour guides. This visit did not disappoint! The food was outstanding (Lau Lau) and the owner even better. This was definitely a place that locals frequent and with good reason. This was our best...meal on the Island and we can't wait to visit again. The food was tasty and authentic. Menu was limited but it was served quick and very tasty! It’s a small place but sharing tables is encouraged and once finished eating, guests are quick to free up a spot.

Don't blink or you'll drive right bye the small parking lot. Authentic Hawaiian food prepared and served by Mom and daughter. Limited menu with several tasty choice. 2 long family style tables with mix of travelers and locals in line back to the door.

Looking for luxury, not your place. Want great Hawaiian food, warm, friendly service this the place. Food was so good great Lau Lau and Hawaiian pork with cabbage. Mac salad yummy too. Don’t miss it when in south Kona.
