The place is awesome the price is fair and the grub is good. The entertainment was a great time. We all enjoyed supper and the show.

The whole set-up is the epitome of what I would expect to find in an old western town! The atmosphere was so fun! From the bear statues to the cowboy mannequin hanging out of the hay loft, it was “western” It was a beautiful setting....More

Could not have a better experience for a dinner setting. Getting all the heritage DNA of the great state of Wyoming served on a plate and I wanted to pick it up and lick off what what left over. People have true Wyoming neighborly ethics...More

Pint sized cowboys meet you and direct you in the parking lot. Horses, cowboys and good spirit abound. There is a covered walkway with benches to wait for table assignments - get there early to sit near the front. Chuckwagon dinner, meat, potatoes, beans, applesauce...More

Super cute idea and the staff was amazing, funny and kind! The food was just okay to poor. I ordered the ribs and could barely get the meat off the bone and my husband ordered the ribeye which was super fatty. Neither of us finished...More

Just remember, all but one meal choice is under $30. That includes taxes, tip, gratuities AND a show. The food isn't gourmet, it's a chuckwagon experience. The chicken and the brisket were very moist and tasty. The sides were good too. Although we had our...More

I'm not sure what kind of food some of the reviews are referring to when they say the food is really good - it is ok but not great IMHO. The beef is swimming in a so-so BBQ sauce. The chicken is ok and the...More

At least a week and get there early! We got there at 4:30 fir the 5:39 opening. Got 2nd row seats facing the stage. Keep in mind though, that ‘seats’ are picnic table benches.

The train ride was not running when we were on the property, but it was more for kids. No wagon rides that I saw or offered when buying tickets. Not a small theme park more chuck wagon meal and western singing experience.

Show ended at around 9:30. I don't know if I would want to do a rodeo on the same night. I enjoyed dwelling on the memory of the music for a while longer, and a rodeo directly following would interfere with that pleasure.

Originated on a working cattle ranch, the Bar J Chuckwagon takes you back to the spirit of the old west with a relaxing atmosphere, rib stickin' meal and authentic cowboy entertainment. The Bar J Wranglers will entertain the entire family as they take you down memory trail with songs, stories, comedy, yodeling, fiddling and more! Experience an evening you'll never forget at the Bar J Chuckwagon. The gates open at 5:30pm and the dinner bell rings promptly at 7:00pm. For the best seats come early. Visit our western village where gift shops await, take a horse-drawn wagon ride through scenic attractions, sample Dutch oven biscuits, enjoy refreshments from our Waterin' Hole, and chat with the Wranglers! With a seating capacity of 750 people, it may surprise many to know that we serve all our guests in less than 25 minutes. We can easily handle tour groups or convention parties with true western hospitality.
