We went there twice over the Thanksgiving holiday and there was nine in our party two of which were young children. Both times the waitresses were great and got our order in a timely manner and those with kids will appreciate that. The orders were what we ordered and the food was very good with more than generous portions. To... More

This place was great. A perfect way to start your day. The staff was friendly and the menu was exactly what you would expect; hearty fare and coffee.

Good prices. Good food. Great home made desserts. Friendly wait staff! Loved it. Bread pudding was good. No raisins. I hate raisins. Hubby had lemon meringue pie. He gave it a 2 thumbs up. I had fish tacos. Very good, but small portion. I could have eaten 2! Good honesty let country cooking.

Breakfast and lunch only. Good buffalo burgers. Good, meaty bacon at breakfast. Staff is very nice and attentive. Ice cream parlor attached but you can do better at the grocery store.

I ate breakfast twice and lunch once and had fast service even though the first time I was in all the locals were having their breakfasts and it was also crowded at lunch the next day. I came a few days later for the second breakfast and you can see it was not crowded at all. Their regular breakfast menu... More

We had just taken a soak at the bath house. We were hungry. It was between Front Porch and the Black Bear Cafe. We chose the Black Bear and we're very happy that we did. If you go you have to have the BBQ Pulled Pork. Oh my god it was so good. Even my husband had to have 2... More

This café has fabulous home-cooked meals. I had ground beef steak, gravy, onions, banana slices, and sweet potato waffle fries. My husband had a Denver omelet, country fries, and slaw. All three of us really did enjoy our meals. Our favorite part of the meal was the pie- I had lemon meringue and my husband had apple. We purchased a... More
