I am very surprised by their high score - folks in Sheridan must have low expectations sorry to say. I have visited the restaurant several times with the last being the other day. All were disappointing, especially the food. The fries were served hot which...was delightful but our Cobb salads came looking disgusting at best! When I ordered I had asked if the chicken was fresh grilled, served hot on the salad and was told YES by our server. The chicken was right out of the fridge and not fresh. The avocado was brown and tasted horrible, the bacon was rubbery, and the lettuce was wilty and slimy in spots. I asked for my balsamic dressing on the side - didn’t happen, the dressing was tossed in the dressing. AND to add insult to injury we waited 45 minutes for the salad being told “sorry, we are training in the back”. Your restaurant looks nice from the outside and that’s where I will be staying from now on. You can do better!!More
Great food and service! We spent the night in Sheridan and found this unexpected gem. The poke bowls are fantastic, as are the pasta dishes.
Disappointing- 1:30 arrival for a leisurely lunch. Being solo, I sat at the bar where a couple was having wine and also ordering lunch. Rude bartender who is basically your run-of-the-mill doer- absolutely no service or personality- any questions were answered with single words- no...offer of additional information- I asked for a chicken sandwich “we’re out of chicken “ - asked if the goat cheese on the beet salad was crumbles”yes” Do you serve bread with salads “no”. I ordered the beet salad and asked for a brioche bun (which was what they showed for the chicken sandwich) got a blank stare, so I offered to pay for it. Beet salad came with 4 tiny balls of breaded, herbed goat cheese and the bread was toasted ciabatta that tasted rancid. I asked her for brioche- no apology and a dirty look. Brioche came toasted with same rancid oil. I had asked for untoasted. Another dirty look so I asked her if she heard me ask for untoasted “no” as she marched away. The remainder of my lunch consisted of her banging every piece of bar ware she removed from the dishwasher on a towel on her counter which was right by me, starting the dishwasher when I was only 10 minutes from finishing my salad. 2 hostesses at the same time were drying silverware- bang crash- about 5 steps away. I had to ask for my check after finishing my lunch- no thanks no way I would go back to the bar if she is working. Sheridan has limited “nice” lunch options- owners please find someone personable and helpful- lots of travelers enjoy some conversations about the area - it would help your business to have some classMore
Very busy restaurant. They also have a bar with high top tables. We sat in the bar area, had drinks and appetizers - it was plenty for a dinner. The martinis were spot on.
We were traveling from Yellowstone and it was a long day and we wanted to eat somewhere where we could a good steak and pasta. My wife ordered the shrimp and pasta and I ordered the flat iron steak. My wife was satisfied with her...meal. Was not satisfied with the flat iron steak. I am not sure if it was fair but I believe I could have made a better steak. The steak was dry, even though I ordered it medium. It also appear like the steak had been previously cooked then just tossed on the grill to warm up. No juice ran out of the steak when I cut into it. The flavor of the flat iron mediocre. Not sure if the meat was marinated, but for the price, I think the cook could have done a better job. Especially with a cut of meat as the “Flat Iron Steak”. I was disappointed to say the least. I did not ask for my money back nor did I ask to speak with the manager since they were so busy. I just hope this establishment gets a copy of this review and makes the necessary corrections.More
A really neat place. Our server Tim was great not only a great server. But full of information. The food was very good, we had the special, pulled pork sandwich it was one of the best tasting we’ve ever had. Also a poke bowl very...yummy.More
We ate here twice while staying in Sheridan and had two excellent meals, hospitably served on both occasions by the charming George. If you visit, do have the sprouts starter. Even if you don't like sprouts.
I had a specialty martini—different and delightful. The hamburger was written up as 6 ounces and it was huge, done just as I asked and with wonderful toppings.
This place is amazing. The staff was professional, warm, and friendly. And the food was the best. I would 100% eat here again.
The food here is good, albeit a bit overpriced, and the presentation is really nice. They were out of several of the food and drink options, which was too bad but our waitress was attentive.
Our family of 3 ate here and everything about it was great. Their serving staff deserve an accolade for their training and the food was wonderful. Highly recommended.
Wonderful, attentive waitstaff. Interesting menu with spicy dishes delivering! Can’t wait until I visit again, Sheridan!
Frackelton’s has just reopened and they did not disappoint our group! We started with the grilled brussel sprouts and crab cakes for appetizers- which were fantastic! I ordered the tenderloin which was cooked to perfection and it melted in my mouth! The steak was accompanied...by very thinly sliced sweet potatoes which were delicious! Of course, we had to have dessert! The peanut butter chocolate cake was a great way to finish our terrific meal! Thrilled to have Frackelton’s back opened for business!!!More
Loved the atmosphere. Classy and hip rolled into one. Got the Mushroom Udon. Very well prepared. The flavor was excellent. Would love to have it right now!
