I come into Sheridan every couple years for work, and each time I always come to the Silver Spur at least once for what is Chun P's BEST Chicken Fried Steak in America. $14 Chicken Fried Steak is about 2000 calories worth of food, a great value, and a great meal! The menu says its 6oz, but it sure looks and feels more like 8-10oz. The Chicken Fried Steak is big, thick, and juicy, with a very thick crispy breading that stays crunchy, even while doused in the rich and creamy sausage loaded gravy(you can ask for it on the side). The hashbrowns are potato perfection, very, very, very, crispy and buttery! And you get two eggs of your style, and a slice of toast. This is a lot of America all on one plate...it's an epic, fatty, sodium, and calorie loaded meal! Can't quite give it 5 Stars do due to so so ambience, and service can be a sweet warm smile or a waitress who just had a bad fight with her boyfriend/husband the night before...but Chicken Fried Steak is everything!

Ok so the reviews have been great for this little local place. We got there at 11 am so not really the busiest time. The cook must have gotten hit all at once because our burgers took a Long Time to come out. Waitress never asked what we wanted with it so fries it was. We ordered the Swiss mushroom burger. Plenty of mushrooms and big burger but overcooked. Again, weren’t asked how we wanted it. I was going to give the restaurant a 3 vote but we got a cinnamon roll to go and now that we have eaten that, the review just bumped to a 4. AMAZING. so much brown sugar and cinnamon. Only $5 and enough for two people.

A great place for breakfast. Coffee is great, atmosphere is cozy and the food is excellent! I’ll stop here every time I’m traveling through. If you’re from California and are looking to stay safe, stay home in California and don’t come to Wyoming. If you’re also from California looking for healthy food options, don’t eat here or any other hometown diner like this.

I was taking breakfast out to my sick pregnant daughter-in-law and my sick two and a half year old grandson. So was going to stop at the Spur to pick up food for them. I went inside, stood at the counter for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to help me. Another girl came out from the back and said she thought there was a table back there if I wanted, and I replied I just wanted to place a to go order. She said oh well then she'll help you and pointed to the gal behind the counter. The old lady behind the counter turned around and looked at me and said we don't do to go orders on the weekends. What? I know they used to, because we've had there to go food on weekends before. I can understand not taking phone orders because they're busy, but I was in the restaurant wanting to place an order, not taking up counter seating or a table seating. I was very disappointed. So Cowboy Cafe got our business today. At least they're kind and courteous.

Most of the other reviews give a pretty reasonable idea of this little café. It is a predictable standard breakfast, friendly people, nothing fancy about it—except that their CINNAMON ROLL is the best (also the largest) we have encountered anywhere. It is the kind made with a real yeast dough, one panful every morning, by the lady who runs the place. She really knows how to do it. One of these rolls is more than enough for two people. Do not miss out.

Local diner with generous portions and friendly service. French toast were excellent. I should have asked for home fries and not hash browns since the former looked amazing. Also got “side pork” thinking pork chop but apparently I’m ignorant that this is a fattier bacon like product. Tasty though. Excellent experience and would return.

Had the breakfast special this morning, one egg, biscuit and gravy & bacon. Outstanding food. While we were ordering the waitress said that the cinnamon buns weren’t ready yet. We had no plan to get one until we found out that they only make 12 a day…. had to be something special. That puppy had to weigh 2 pounds and was simply outstanding. We snacked on it all the way to Bozeman. Come for the breakfast, but buy the desert!!!!

What a great place! We stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed every bite! The veggie omelet was packed with fresh vegetables and the bacon and hash browns were delicious. The ambiance is friendly and fun and the service includes a smile. Prices are very reasonable.

Great spot for breakfast! My dad and I ate here for breakfast and the food was really good. I had an omelette and a side of sausage and my dad got one of the specials for breakfast. He also enjoyed his breakfast. This is a great place four a family to enjoy breakfast or lunch or if you’re on vacation.

It doesn't look like much from the outside or when you first enter. It's one of those hole in the wall restaurants frequented by locals because they know the food is good. I had a half breakfast burrito and it was HUGE and delicious. Service was good considering how busy they were.

Visit every year for breakfast and it never disappoints. Sat at the counter and our server was terrific. No nonsense but fun. The breakfasts are outstanding, especially the sausage links from local meat company, Legerski.

We received a breakfast voucher from the Historic Sheridan in during our stay. From the outside the Cafe looked a wee run down but do not be fooled! Inside hosts a down home staff of good people to serve you and a parade of town folks that tell ya this is a true find. The miss'us claims that her breakfast sausage was the best she ever had! I wouldn't know, she didn't share.

The place is a total dive, old and a little dirty inside, but those places have the BEST food! One of the best pancakes we've ever had. Eggs, hash browns and bacon was delicious. Prices were low compared to other similar places nearby.

If you are really hungry in Sheridan, this is the place!🤠 Huge breakfast burritos and tacos ! Try the Annie Oakley! Large menu of breakfast and lunch items. Not fancy , so this is just a joint, and a local hang out, and is usually packed and parking is at a premium. If you want to see the local community, this is the place!
