This is fabulous. It looks a little small from the outside but the woman at our hotel recommended it and she was right. Mom makes all of the Mexican food herself. The enchiladas were wonderful. My husband enjoyed the burrito. The waitress was friendly and courteous. There is no alcohol served.

We stopped at this cafe on our way thru Wyoming just looking for food to fill us up. What we found was a small treasure of great classic Mexican food and a wonderful welcoming family waiting on us. Please visit and save room for dessert.

Go early or late because at normal eating times it is packed. Only about 20 seats and they do not accept credit cards. Food was great, good sized portions.

Stick to the basics. They used to only have beef. No Quesadillas, no chimi, and no fish or shrimp. The green chili is great if you like the flavor. It is primarily New Mexican. The owner's grandparents are from New Mexico and Bobby took over from his Mom who was Rose! His kids are doing a lot of the running... More

I often travel between Denver and Idaho and when time allows I stop to eat. The green chili is even better than my favorite Denver Mexican restaurants. The prices are great too. The place is very small and a little off I-80 but is so well worth the stop!

Great little place. Fresh hot delicious. Homemade authentic! Small building but worth it. Yummmy . Don't let the outside full you.

We had a stuffed sopapilla smothered in green and enchiladas smothered in red sauce. Both were fantastic. I would consider this to be in the top 5 Mexican restaurants that we have visited and we eat a lot of Mexican food. A couple of things to be aware of- Chips and salsa are not included in the price of a... More

Good food. All homemade right there. Single counter and one tiny table. Outside patio. Pleasant staff. The restroom is a tiny closet in the kitchen, but it was clean enough. All the good sauces and beans and veggies and meat are cooking right there in the kettles on the stove. The flavors were good. Good food for most everyone. We sat... More

We continue to eat at Lariat every month. The food is excellent. The waitstaff is friendly. Counter seating with a few tables. Outside seating during warm weather.

I had read about Rose's on a pervious trip when I wasn't feeling like Mexican and tried it this time. It kind of looks like a hole in the wall, but inside it was very bright and charming. I was hungry after driving all day and the food was great and filling. Looks like the locals eat here, always a... More
