Simply the best. I have not been back since September 2020, but I have not forgotten this meal and truly doubt that I will. Could not recommend more highly!

This was an amazing and FUN experience. The food was incredible and the service exceeded our expectations. We drove from Colorado and Utah to experience this amazing place and it did not disappoint. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Very enjoyable. Matt does a fantastic job. Everything they cook is tasty. I like the outdoor seating but be warned it’s only outdoor seating.

We found this unique restaurant in the WY travel magazine and made plans to drive to Pinedale to visit the Museum of the Mountain Man and have dinner here on one of their three open nights. The atmosphere was perfect. We had fresh fruit and...green salad, played some cornhole and put in our order - 3 steaks and a trout. The food was done perfectly and we will definitely be back. The family vote was that the lemon bars were better than the brownies.More

Very good food. Steak, trout, chicken, and vegetarian. Order your steak for done-ness and the table's steaks are delivered impaled on a pitchfork and your server "deals" them off the top. "Who had the medium? Medium rare??" Fun.

The owner Matt was a wonderful host and took the time to talk with us and give us some tips on where to see some hidden gems of Wyoming history. The people who work there are just as nice as he is too! The food...was amazing (the kettle chips were to die for)! Choice of steak, chicken, or trout cooked using a pitchfork along with salads, buffalo brats, baked potato and dessert at an extremely reasonable price. They supply tea, lemonade, and water but it is BYOB and they will supply buckets, ice, cups, etc. The views of the Wind River Mountain range made the experience complete. We highly recommend this one of a kind experience!More

Pitchfork was a big deciding factor on us staying in Pinedale so there were definitely some expectations on the place. It’s a very cool and laid back atmosphere, with First class food. The Steaks were perfectly cooked, and all of the other acutriments were fantastic....Matt and his staff do a great job of making sure everyone is taken care of, and the food is awesome. Highly recommend it!More

After a long day of hiking in the Tetons and along the road to Casper we decided to stop here. Expectations were reasonably high as I’d discovered the establishment in a best of Wyoming food list, but exactly what was coming nearly blew my friend...and I’s head clean off. The food was beyond stellar. It is exactly the kind of hearty food that is meant to be eaten in the shadow of a majestic mountain range. We still cannot determine which was better, the food or the view. Either way it is an extraordinary experience and worth going out of your way for!More

We loved this place - great food, wonderful outdoor location, very friendly staff; the owner in particular took time to explain this unique experience and get to know us better. And perfectly prepared and suited for this special Coronavirus summer. Certainly a place we would...come back to should we come in this region again!More

I love the location, I love the staff, and I love the food. The location is beautiful and I love seeing the Wind River Mountains. The owner made the experience personal and he took time to really get to know us. The food was delicious....It is a little expensive but it is worth every penny. I just wish it was closer to where I live. The servers were all very nice and did a great job. I loved eating here and I will come back. It is the best dining experience I have ever had. Worth the drive from Jackson.More

What a fun evening with great food and an even better environment. There are lawn games for the kids and big family style tables outside and under awnings. The food is great and a fun experience - you first grab freshly made chips with different...sauces, as well as fruit, salad and bread. The bison brats were tasty and the steak was perfect. Highly recommend coming with friends and hanging out through sunset for a nice night. BYOB.More

A really different way to cook food. They actually cook your food in fondue oil. Very tasty. It is outdoor dining so you have to be prepared wind, weather and bugs. We enjoyed or dinner, but this is not fine dining.

Pitchfork Fondue was such a unique experience. Dinner was great and the view is beautiful. The owners were incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Steaks are cooked to order and the available sauces are a nice addition to the meal. Do...not leave this place without devouring your fair share of kettle chips! Yum!More
