Toward the end of September, we took a day trip to enjoy the fall colors along the Snowy Range Scenic Byway and stopped at Altitude Chophouse for late lunch/early dinner. At 4 pm during the week, the restaurant was not busy. We were seated at a table for two by the window, the same place we sat the last time... More

Altitude brews their own beer and it is quite good. The appetizers are pretty good and the entrees are too. I wouldn't say it's great food, but it's dependable good and priced pretty well.

It was Tuesday evening when we visited the Altitude Chophouse and it was busy with no tables available. We were told that we could have a table in about 20 minutes so we decided to wait. As it happened, we were seated after about 10 minutes which was a pleasant surprise and we had our drinks within 5 minutes. The... More

We tried this place based on the other reviews here. We went a little earlier so we didn't have to wait. The food was fine, nothing spectacular. My husband had the rib eye. His steak was cooked perfectly. He doesn't really care for a lot of 'stuff' on his steak so he thought the spices and sauce were unnecessary. I... More

Took a day trip to Laramie from Cheyenne. While walking around couldn't really find a decent place (being mid-afternoon). Asked a couple people standing in a shop door and they both said Altitude. We walked a couple blocks over and found it easy enough. The food was very good. What stuck out to me was the asparagus, the biggest, juiciest... More

Altitudes recently went through a pretty extensive remodel and the results are amazing. This is a great place to grab a drink with friends or a special night with a significant other.

Brews made in house were really good. Their wheat beer won a gold medal at the American beer festival. Highly recommend beers there. Food is so, so, not as good as you might expect in a place like this. So stop for a beer.

This was our first visit since Altitude's 2016 renovation. Wow! What a nice change. Our servers for a large group were fantastic but 2 servers for 29 people was cutting it a bit lean. All the food was great. It took 45 minutes to order the 2nd round of drinks. Desserts were off the charts! (see photos). Entrees arrived 2... More

The number two restaurant in Laramie for a reason - it's very, very good! Delicious steak entree with yummy vegetables, soup, a house brand draft beer that pleased a sophisticated beer drinker, good service, and - surprise bonus - no annoying music to filer out! Too bad I'm just passing through town, I'd certainly go again!

We had dinner here twice during our visit to Laramie and both were very good experiences with one little exception. My husband & I both had the seafood pasta & there were a couple of unopened mussels in our dish. We pointed those out to our server and she let the kitchen know and they brought us a new order...
