Since I live in Arizona, I can eat Mexican food whenever I want but I decided to try this place since it was their 50th anniversary this year. You order at a counter and then take your food to a table if you want to...eat in, which I did. I had a burrito since I'm not fond of tacos. The burrito was tasty and I also had Taco John's version of tater tots. The container the potatoes were in was filled to the brim and they were delicious. I also had a side of guacamole and a small drink (though the cup was huge in my opinion). An added bonus was that I got a free ice cream cone with the meal; I don't know if that was a special on the day I was there or if that is standard every day. Nevertheless, it was very nice. There was nothing special about the food but it was excellent value, came quickly, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I was happy to support a local restaurant instead of a chain.More

You have to understand that Taco John's is a cult place. The food is average Mexican fast food. For those who have spent a lot of time in the area, they have a couple of things that people just love. One of them are Potato...Ole's and yes you need to have the cheese sauce.More

Taco Johns is a fast food chain that originated in Cheyenne. Located on Grand Avenue, Taco Johns is convenient to access and has just what you'd expect for a fast food mexican place. The coupons and deals are worth looking into. You won't leave this...place hungry or with an empty wallet as the prices are very reasonable. The burrito components appeared fresher than what we've seen at Taco Bell. I give it an excellent rating for this class of restaurant for the service, cleanliness, overall quality of the food and value for your money. Try to find a coupon for even better deals.More

Their tacos & potatoes are perfect for cheap, but delicious treats. Try the cheese sauce for your potatoes!

I thought this place was disgusting - the food was gross and the service was awful. I will NEVER come back here and if I know of anyone traveling in the area I will advise them to avoid this venue.

This was my very first exploration with this good chain. The staff was friendlr and the food was pretty good. I truly enjoyed that this particular chain serve a variet of tacos (beef, chicken, and fish). I had the fish tacos they were a little...spicy, but I enjoyed the heat.More

What I like about Taco John is that I can have as many hot peppers that I want. Taco Bell charges for them. The naco cheese is better than Taco Bells. Seniors get 10% off if you ask for it. Free refills on drinks. Total...price is about 1/3 higher than Taco Bells. You get more nacho chips at Taco John. Food was tasty.More

Had the street tacos. Was like fast food meets fast food truck. Tasted like a blend of both. I like Taco Bell but would eat at Taco John's if given the opportunity.

We always come here to eat dinner. We love the food and the atmosphere not to mention that the staff is very friendly. On this day 4-5-14 we went in to try their breakfast that we heard so much about. Even though they open at...7 am and it being 7:35 am they weren't open or ready. After waiting at door then the drive thru management came out & said the fryers weren't ready and it would be 10-15 more mins. This is 2nd time we tried for breakfast. So don't count on breakfast here :(More

You can't go wrong with Taco Johns' Nachos Navidad! It has been over four years since I had been at a Taco Johns restaraunt. The service as awesome and the food was as good as I remembered.
