Food is OUTSTANDING in variety, quality, presentation, and modest prices. Ambience is nice, not pretentious, in the old heart of the historic downtown dining/bar/retail area. Service was exceptional for a small town. Prices are very reasonable with many appetizers under $10 and entrees mostly under...$15, and portions pretty large, so suitable for sharing. But, the food is the big attraction. They also have locations in Cheyenne and Rawlins. I think the Laramie location is nicer than the one in Rawlins (where we ate a couple of years ago), but no idea on Cheyenne. Patrons appeared to be a mix of college students, local regulars and travelers.More

We've traveled extensively in SE Asia and know good food of any type - this is good food, strong Asian base, very slightly Americanized - no greasy noodles or strong fermented fish like you see in rural Thailand. I had mussels in a ginger stir...fry and my wifehad beef noodle soup - both excellent. Crispy not overcooked and brightly colored veggies, fresh tasting mussels (in Wyoming!), lots of shredded ginger. Authentic beef noodle soup with a solid 5 spice stock. We also had calamari, also first rate.More

Delicious food - great vegan options. Enjoyed summer rolls, veggie Panang Curry and Salmon Masaman curry and Thai iced tea made with coconut milk (no dairy!) Very clean, pleasant and attentive staff, and doing a brisk business for. Late Sun afternoon (open 11-3 Sun-Fri for...lunch).More

We had two different duck dishes and totally shocked that they had such good food. If any chance we pass through again we will definitely stop. One of the better Thai's we have ever been to. Wanted to try the Tom Ka soup but too...many options. LOVED ITMore

The hot and sour soup served upon being seated is amazing. Our entrees were equally as amazing. The chicken was very fresh and so were the rest of the ingredients. Will be adding this to our places to stop when we drive through.

We tried Anong's in Laramie on a recent weekend afternoon, and there was only one server for the entire small restaurant, which unfortunately is not uncommon these days with current staff shortages in many businesses. Our server was nice but did not have time or...means to sufficiently take care of everyone, even with help from kitchen staff who appeared periodically to serve ice tea, complimentary soup, and clean tables. The dining room itself was not super clean; floors were dirty, as was the restroom. The prices were very good for lunch and included the entree and soup. Food was good, not stellar. Bottom line: We will probably not dine in Anong's again in the near future but may consider them for carry out next time we're in Laramie and wish to eat some Thai food.More

We drove through Laramie and wanted something healthier than fast food. We found Anong's Thai Cuisine and it was the perfect meal! Veggie-Thai was a delicious blend of fresh vegetables stir fried. The Chicken Masaman Curry was flavorful and delicious. A great combination on a...brisk travel day! Our waitstaff was kind, the service prompt and the food tasty. Our take-out meal was everything that we were hoping for!More

We were on our way back to Utah and stopped for the night in Laramie. Anong's had some good reviews so we tried it out. I ordered the red curry chicken which was excellent. My wife ordered a shrimp dish that was also excellent. We...will definitely come again when we pas through Laramie.More

During the COVID epidemic excellent spacing, masks, cashier shield ... All the essential protocols observed. Great historic location, extensive Thai menu. Our guess is that ANYTHING on the menu would be superb. All the basics available ... noodles, soups, curries. Gracious knowledgeable table servers. We...think this restaurant stacks up on high level found in Portland OR & Seattle Sith which we're both fa.I liar. It would be a shame to be in Laramie when this place is open and to not eat here!More

We ordered the crispy half duck and Pad Thai (without fish sauce). Service was quick and friendly and they were able to accommodate vegetarians by making the pad Thai without fish sauce. The food was great! Highly recommend for anyone passing through.

My family and I were passing through and decided to eat here around 1 on a Thursday. A rather small location but that was fine as there were only about 3 tables out of 10 or so being used. The restaurant is located in one...of the historic brick buildings and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Our waitress was very nice and capable. The chicken and rice soup given out with the drinks was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. My parents ordered plates with noodles, but unfortunately did not enjoy the brown sauce in it. My brother ordered fried calamari which he thought was delicious. I ordered the Tom Yum Seafood Soup, which was both incredibly rich and very spicy. It was a large bowl and I was unable to finish the whole thing. There were calamari rings, shrimp, salmon, and mussels in the soup and I enjoyed it a lot. My one criticism is that the calamari in my soup had an odd smell to them, similar to pungent Parmesan cheese; however, they tasted fine. The spiciness was at a level that I needed to take a break after several spoonfuls and my nose began to run, but that is what I expected. I would definitely eat there again.More

Nice selection of curries, noodles, appetizers. They start you out with a complimentary soup which was good. The curries we ordered were just ok. Two of us ordered spicy but they came out very mild. The masaman curry was very thick and quite plain in...taste. The green papaya salad was the spiciest of all the dishes. They seem to do a lot of takeout which made for a less than attentive staff. Prices are good. Perhaps the noodle dishes are better.More

My husband prefers lunch over dinner for eating out. This resturant presents a good buffet with plenty to eat including two soups. Their chicken is always good and so are the wonton appetizers. Good service and a good price.

We love Anong Thai. The food is authentic and the prices are fair for rather large meals. Laramie is not the first place you'd think to find good Thai food but this little unsuspecting corner shop is the answer.
