Very nice staff. Good selection of coffee, baked goods, & other menu items. Open late & there’s a tap room attached that is open until 10.

Nice little coffee shop in the downtown area of Laramie. Perfect coffee shop atmosphere with friendly service and really good pastries - particularly the cheese croissant . Always fun to find a local coffee shop with personality.
I love Coal Creek coffee - I make it a point to always stop here and get some ground when I am going through town. However, the last few times I have been here, including today, I must say that I probably will quit going....They are absolutely inefficient with their service - you wait and wait in line, and then you get your cup of coffee and it's going before you get your food. The guy waiting on us was super friendly, but it makes no sense that the person taking orders is also making drinks and running food to tables. Bummer - they used to do better and the service is not worth the wait.More
I do not do reviews, but my experience was so negative I felt I had to share. I ordered a cold brew warmed to 140 degrees. Took way too long standing at order counter to be acknowledged to place an order, when you consider they...were at less than 1/4 capacity. picture help gabbing. The coffee temp was perfect, the only thing that was right. But the coffee wasn't even good hot brew! Bitterest cuppa I've ever been served, and I had to pay $3.50 for this assault on my taste buds. COLD BREW IS NEVER THAT BITTER!!!! Server denied it was cooled hot brew. Then, they have a problem with quality control. But I do have to thank them for supporting WYSOUNDS.More
I used to love this place, but had a very disappointing visit today. It took 45 min to get a sandwich for lunch, and the was 1 (yes, one) slice of bacon on each half of my BLT. Beer is good, but won't be eating...here again unless something changes!!!More
One hour to get 2 pizza pies for my grandkids. The lady who cooked pizzas had a horrible attitude and should be fired. I probably will miss my flight because of her slow service. The pizza also taste like crap. The owner should spend time...in this place because all the staff sucked as wellMore
This was by far the rudest place we’ve ever been. The staff is lazy & the place is dirty! Nothing good about this place to report. Plenty of better choices here in Laramie that really are good!
Whenever I visit an area, instead of getting souvenirs that collect dust, I collect coffee. During my visit I chose 4 packages of coffee to suit my style. The assortment of coffee beans were plentiful. I tend to like my coffee on the bold side. Getting...home I happily ground beans this last weekend, and sipped away. Bliss!More
Enjoyed a latte while shopping downtown. The syrup was excellent & the latte was good. The pastries looked good. The service was decent, but lacked the friendliness I normally find at local coffee shops.
Excellent coffee and a small, but very nice selection of pastries and breakfast items. We took a ground pound of coffee home with us.
the service is snow and the coffee is not worth the $$. and I dont like to bus my own plate when asked for a tip
Coal Creek Coffee & Tap has a wonderful selection of excellent coffees & beers...there is something for everyone here. And the bites/snacks they have are excellent, too. The staff are so welcoming, passionate & knowledgeable about what is on offer...if you have a question about...a product, they'll patiently answer & make suggestions for you. I highly recommend Coal Creek Coffee & Tap!More
Great coffees, delicious sandwichs and pastries. The baristas and servers are very friendly. Two locations: one downtown and one near the Hilton Garden Inn Laramie.
I visited this coffee shop twice and had similar experiences. Servers are "uppity" or "snooty". The atmosphere is seems phony and "wanta-be". Coffee is good and full flavor. Pricing is high.
This is a nice little local coffee spot near the college. Drop on in for a warm beverage and enjoy the hospitality!
