After all the reviews and hype, we were really disappointed with our Trio experience. We had a reservation and were seated late. So not off to a great start. We both ordered the halibut--after seeing the rave reviews. It was okay, but nothing special. Service was decent. I think there are better places to eat in Jackson.

Having not made reservations, we were seated at the counter, which overlooks the prep and pizza oven area of the kitchen. Although it was a bit loud there, it was fun watching the kitchen staff work on the meals and unlike many restaurant bars, we actually had a great deal of space so it was very comfortable. Right off the... More

Trio is definitely one of Jackson's top restaurants. Our entrees were delicious, the server was terrific, and the atmosphere was somewhat noisy and fun. If you like bacon you'll love the BLT soup. Just wish we lived closer to be able to try their other offerings. Note that there is a free parking facility one block away at the corner... More

My wife and I ate here for our first anniversary. We started with drinks which we both enjoyed. We ordered the BLT soup to share to begin with. It came quick and was delicious. For our entrées, I got the 10 oz bone in pork chop and my wife got the 12 oz New York steak. We were surprised at... More

Went there last night and had a reservation at 7.45pm. Reservations are definitely needed here as it gets very busy and they juggle the in and out traffic. That said the menu is great and the wine list very good too. It's a short menu with local fresh ingredients outside the seafood options. The quality and taste of the food... More

I'm a Jackson resident of 14 years and have been coming here since they opened. It's one of my favorite places to dine, last night my folks who were visiting all the way from Australia took me and my husband to Trio to celebrate my birthday (which was noted upon making the reservation), no one gave any birthday wishes or... After 5 days of eating National Park food, this restaurant was a godsend. The food and atmosphere were fantastic - although a bit loud when fully packed. We ate at the bar because it was a long wait for a table in the dining room, but it was quite comfortable. The halibut was delicious and you must try the blue... More

I expected the food to be far pricier than what I was used to (Portland prices). When that wasn't the case, I assumed it would be mediocre. Instead, it was delicious! I died over the pasta with crab. My guest's halibut was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were large and strong. And even the wine list was not outrageous (although... More

Ask for a table by the window! We did and found it to be much nicer than further into the restaurant (a little warm and stuffy). All of our meal was quite tasty. We started with the Steak Tartar. The steak was very chewy but the flavor was delicious. The accompanying garlic aioli made this dish! The Arugula salad was... More

Halibut was so yummy, my mouth waters when I think about it. Pork chop was fantastic too. Lively. small interior. Great service.
