Food and ambience

Inspired by bakeries in France and beyond, Persephone Bakery and Café remains rooted in Wyoming, a local orientation expressed in our breakfast and lunch menus' focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cafe carries a core collection of classic artisanal breads as well as a spectrum of sweets, from French croissants and kouign amann to macarons and tarts. To complement our menu creations, Persephone proudly carries Intelligentsia Coffee, Bellocq Teas and a refined selection of beer and wine.

Persephone is my favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Jackson. The pasties are incredible, great coffee, and the hot breakfasts are awesome. My favorite pastry is their almond croissant, and love their carrot coconut bread. Try the herbed omelet or the quiche. For lunch, the...salads and sandwiches are every bit as yummy as their pastries - the smoked trout salad was my favorite, with a good amount of trout, a soft boiled egg, roasted potatoes and beets, asparagus, local greens, and a slice of their awesome bread. The beet salad is also great, as is the veggie sandwich. You can sit indoors or out, depending on the weather. A great local place.More

Great breakfast Parisian style baked goods. The coffee offered was the best we found in town. Not nearly as busy as some other breakfast staples in this town.

Such a sweet bakery cafe. Laid back and delicious. We had the chicken hoagies and every bite was delicious. The bakery items looked exquisite.

Off the main path. Highly recommended by a local resident. Ordered breakfast and coffee. At first I thought it was a little pricy, but once we got meal, very large portions! Maple scone is a must also. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Coffee was outstanding....Very clean, cheery atmosphere.More

We have visited this adorable lil bakery a few times over the years. The food is DELISH, and we love the diversity in the drink menu! You pay for what you get, for sure. Unfortunately, because it is so good and more popular in recent...years, you will likely wait in a long line outside before being able to order and not get a seat while you're there. We would love to sit in the atmosphere one time, but it has not yet been meant to be for us. Cutest place in town with stellar food, just make sure you're okay with crowds and takeout.More

Diverse menu and the food is to-die-for! The ingredients they use are locally sourced and staff is always friendly. They also have baked items to go (chocolate chip cookies, chocolates, etc.). Make sure this place is on your list when you visit Jackson Hole!

We usually stay in Wilson and enjoy that location but the Jackson location with its outdoor pick up window is excellent too. For some reason the Wilson location doesn't offer the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and I'm telling you the best breakfast you can...have is that sandwich on a croissant with extra sauce, fills you up until dinner! Their chocolate chip cookies are out of this world and you can't find a better chocolate croissant anywhere, love this place!More

Hi Kath! Thanks for the stellar review! So happy to hear that you enjoyed everything :) Just wanted to clarify that our Wilson location does offer the egg sandwich on a croissant, they may have just been out of croissants when you tried to order...More

Having been at the Persephone bakery before a few years ago, we knew it was the place to go for breakfast. It was also very close to the condo we stayed in and visited there most mornings. Yes, it is that good! During our visits,...we tried the shakshuka, croque madame, cinnamon brioche, pumpkin maple bread, quiche and greens, and the omelette. All of the items on the menu are fantastic and I wish we had one of these in my home town. A must do when in Jackson Hole.More

Amazing bakery - delicious pastries and excellent coffees. I loved this place so much, I actually stopped here each morning before heading into GTNP, and on the way out heading back to my hotel in Teton Village. My favorite was the Cheddar scone - made...a great quick and easy breakfast. If you are a coffee or a baked goods person (who isn't?) be sure to stop here when in town!More
