I didn't eat here, just met some friends for drinks. They had a great beer selection and I enjoyed the local vibe. It didn't feel touristy to me (except that I was a tourist there).

I've been here before, and reviewed it well previously. It's actually a very cool spot with a good vibe. But, it needs just one more notch of professionalism now. Part of their "schtick" is to be a bit informal and off the cuff, but some servers are now starting to be lacking in the skill of doing an great job.... More

We hadn't checked TripAdvisor after a long trip from Yellowstone and just asked where the closest place to eat was. This was a pleasantly casual place with good service, good food, local brews and a great view. My wife and went from grumpy to relaxed and full. We checked TripAdvisor after our visit and found it was deservedly among the... More

A few locals recommended this place, and we are glad we tried it!!! Burgers are fantastic and the place is super laid back. Perfect for families or just hanging out. Be prepared to wait though - place was packed on a weeknight when we were there.

In addition to the view and casual atmosphere, the burgers are truly mouth-watering and ample in size.

Nice relaxed place with great food. We started with wings and then had burgers and everyone really enjoyed dinner. Nice selection of beers as well. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Jackson.

Stunning views of the Tetons Went with locals who told us only place that they make burgers from scratch. They did not disappoint. My husband who is a vegetarian claims that they have one of the best veggie burgers he has ever had. Good place for small or big party.

Jackson Hole is full of tourists but you won't find many at The Bird. It's about a ten minute drive south of town, tucked away in a ramshackle wood building behind a defunct gas station. The place is full of rustic charm and has a large deck with a magnificent view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Emphasis is on... More

The place is a local favorite and we liked it as well. We were a party of 11 and the place was pretty busy on a beautiful Wednesday evening. We did get lucky and find a large picnic table on their outdoor patio that has gorgeous views of the mountains. The menu was sort of limited but as long as... More

Description
Located South of Town Square. The Bird provides one of the most fantastic views in the greater Teton Valley, with panoramic mountain vistas offering a brilliant sunset. A favorite watering hole of local legend Colonel Angus, it is a neighborhood pub atmosphere with rustic wood interior. Great for all but beware, the late-night scene can get quite rowdy and may not be suitable for families with young children. The Bird prides itself in offering a unique "local" experience whilst offering great cuisine. Not the place to be pandered to but if you wish to let loose, eat right, and escape the standard tourist trap come on in!
